Help! I just did my first Gonal-F pen injection at home and I followed all the instructions - held the top down for ten seconds etc, checked that the counter returned to zero, but after I withdrew the needle a tiny droplet formed at the end of the needle... Has this happened to others? Did I mess it up? Surely the dose is more than one tiny droplet..?

I wouldn't worry @scubagirl it should be fine! Ring the clinic if you want piece of mind. A little droplet shouldn't make any difference x

Thanks @KitiK I was so proud of myself for doing it then got all worried that I'd stuffed it up. I just found some Internet forum posts saying the same thing so I think it's fairly common but I'll call the clinic just to check.

It's very common... Did it every time for me when I did Gonal-f

@ScubaGal I wouldn't worry about it - that happened to me this morning after my puregon injection too. One tiny droplet isn't going to make a difference yesterday I forgot to set my alarm and had it an hour later than I was supposed too! I figured I'd be fine - it's mainly the blocker and trigger that MUST be RIGHT on time. I am a bit more relaxed this time around I think because I've done it before but I remember the first time I was so anxious about every tiny thing! So I completely understand your concern and worry!

I just wanted to wish all the best to those ladies who are booked in for their egg pickups today! I truly hope you get great numbers and there are a few stickies amongst them all

AFM, 4th day of puregon and am starting to feel crampy already!! To think I've got another week of this is a little scary...FS appt tmrw first thing to check on the progress of the follies so I'm hoping they're growing so nicely that I can have an earlier pickup ;p

    2009 - 2010 - diagnosed with severe endo - 2 x laps, 1 x laparotomy to remove endo.
    2011 - IVF - 1st cycle - chemical pregnancy, FET - BFN, 2nd FET - BFN
2013 - another laparotomy - lost right ovary and tube to a 15cm endometrioma
    2014 - beginning IVF again...

Hi @cheekyhumour, glad you've overcome your fear of it all!! - hopefully I will be able to as well (starting in 2weeks and I'm 40).. 9 eggs collected is great! Can I ask how old you are? I've been thinking about the yoga, do you know if it's ok to do during stimming?
