@Grace1 Yes, this is our first ever cycle so I'm pretty nervous - as well as excited!
We have been trying since Oct 2012. I have PCOS and DH had low morphology. We are using the public system in Sydney.

@babygirl7 it's Gonal F to begin with I think. On my way in now for the jab and to pick up all the meds...
@Grace1 it's my first IVF too, we are also doing ICSI. I've had a roller coaster of emotions since finding out two weeks ago that this was our only option after a year and a bit of TTC. Everything you're feeling is totally normal welcome to the club.

You were right - it didn't hurt and i barely felt it. I did get a bit psyched out right before, I've always looked away when getting a jab, but then I was expecting it to hurt like a vaccine in the upper arm muscle does - and it didn't hurt at all in my tum.

So all good, and DH and I have had a lovely day today just walking in the sunshine. Taking monday off work and going to finally get that massage, just to keep the stress levels down.

@ScubaGal glad your jab went well, it's does pysch you out. I know it did to me. I'm using gonal f again this cycle and plus Orgalutran which I haven't had before and I have read it is a blunt needle and hard to jab so that's freaking me out lol. Glad you have lovely weather to enjoy, where abouts are you? We have heavy rain today here in Perth

Good luck for EPU tomorrow Soques & Ducky01.

CD4 here and so far all is going well. I shocked myself by being a little scared about the injections(being a nurse didn't help at all) luckily my hubby is treating it like work, gotta love living with a doctor!

I would love to know how long until I really start to feel any symptoms? I have slightly worse period pain but nothing more.

Yep! It's amazing how busy it is. I think actually the last two days of going in there has helped DH, because all the other people look just like us (meaning not two-headed or whatever DH thought that "IVF-people" would look like).

I'm in Sydney, it's chilly but nice and sunny. I'm not sure what other drugs I'm on, I need to investigate what else is in the esky bag. I just shoved it in the fridge after clinic this morning...

@Soques best of luck tomorrow, I find the EPU the easiest part of the whole thing, you go in, have a great sleep and get to have a nice cup of tea and a sandwich after you wake up. @ScubaGal re your q "does stimming make endo pain worse?", I've had no problem with endo pain from stimming, it hasn't worried me at all. I just get the bloated feeling which most ladies get.So fx you won't have any pain either:-)
