@Grace1 we were never given the option to do it at home, his assessment and both cycles he had to go to a windowless room with a vinyl chair hahaha and they sent him off while I was getting EPU. Can you ask to do it there if you're nervous about the wait?

It's worrying me that the swimmers are all going to die. I assume they will put them in something to keep them alive? I would have thought they would have his sample closer to EPU time? The nurse said most men will do it at home then bring it in rather than doing in the rooms. What has everyone's dh done? Obviously our first time doing this!! Am I worrying for nothing? If only there was a 24hr ivf nurse hotline lol.....Thanks ladies
Lol don't freak out @grace they keep em warm and swimming for you in a special solution, and depending on what science you're doing there's a bit of processing (washing) to be done as well. Remember that under normal circumstances they live for 3-5 days inside your Fallopian tubes so an hour or two is nothing and they'll be stored in the same conditions as your tubes to keep 'em happy.

    Hi Ladies!

Thought I would jump in here as all I can think about are my embies sitting in the lab growing (day 2). I have 3 eggs that have fertilised from a total of 9 so I'm crossing fingers, toes, praying, positive affirmations you name it- I'm doing it in hope that these 3 make it to day 5. I hear back from the scientist today if they want to do a 3 day transfer or otherwise tomorrow to see the progress. Talk about stressful!
@ScubaGal are you ET on Tues or Wed? I'm on Wed so we will be in our TWW together

Biggest hugs to all those who have received their BFN- x
