Hey ladies, I haven't been keeping up with this thread very well but I wanted to send big love to the girls who need it. I know how it feels to get your hopes dashed and to know you were pregnant even if for a short time. I also recommend counselling, it's something that hits so close to your core and not many people really seem to get that so you feel like you should be moving on somehow...

I had 2 miscarriages, a chemical pregnancy and a vanishing twin before getting the gorgeous bubba I have now. I was worried I'd lose him too up until about 20 weeks. I truly do think that we appreciate him so much though because of the journey we took to get him. I'm now back on the IVF train on day 5 of injecting. It's easier the 'second' time around.

Congratulations to the girls who are getting BFPs and great embryo/ egg numbers as well! It's nice that it's a relatively smooth journey (well, from this point) for some.

Mind in on overtime. Have felt nauseous the last 2 days. Not sure if I have picked something up (a virus or something) or its a sign of a bfp... fx.

Am going to POAS from tomorrow am....! That makes me 12dp ovulation and 7dp5dt... I have 4 tests so would think over the next 4 days if I am going to get a bfp it would show...? AF due on Thursday.

Day 3 update all but 2 are within 6-8 cells. 2 are 4-5 cells and probably will drop off but at this stage we still have 10 in the running. We just would love to have 3 on day 5 as blasts. Fingers crossed

    Hi Ladies,

DH & I are hoping to start IVF this month. We had our consult the other day with the nurse and now it's just upto us. Hoping someone could help me with a quick question please ... Does the clinic (QFG) want full payment the week before egg pick up? I understand we need to pay registration on cd1, but just need clarification on whether we need to cough up the remaining within a week or so.

    Thank you!

Welcome @Bundleofjoy and best of luck for your cycle. Sorry I can't help you with payment details, I think every clinic is different. I paid on the day of EPU, and also because I had my FET on a public holiday didn't pay until I was invoiced - which I hear is very flexible and quite unusual!

    Hi and welcome

I was with QFG cairns and they required full payment when you picked up your meds. Now I am with QFG in Brisbane with Wazza he required full payment a week prior to EPU. With me cycling remotely though they allow me to pay once I get a definite surgery date which is usually only two days notice.

Thanks @Bellavista and @KitiK. I think from the piles of info I've been given I need to pay 1 wk before EPU. Thanks for your replies
