I thought I would pop into this thread. DH & I are seeing our FS nurse tomo for our 1st IVF consult appt. So far we've tried clomid, OI, 3x IUI (1x early m/c IUI). Our FS suggested IVF considering the other assisted methods have not helped, all tests have been carried out and all is deemed as normal. The only thing that FS did say is that it can be genetic as I was a IVF baby myself. I was told I would be doing an Antagonist Cycle. Anyway I'm not sure If we're starting this cycle or next. Ah, I feel like IVF is this whole other thing I need to learn and get my head around now.
Quick question ladies
I've been been stimming for two weeks now an I feel as if I'm getting my af
i can't remember. Is this normal? I'm doing a short cycle
hugs to all xx
@Precious40 Towards the end of stimming I felt quite full and heavy and sore. Not so much like AF starting, but definitely like I was on the verge of ovulating. I have heard others say it felt like AF though, so it sounds pretty normal to me.
Afm, I rang the nurse at the clinic this afternoon because I was starting to worry about my bleeding, as in how much is too much? She agreed that it sounded like quite a lot, and said it is most likely the pregnancy ending. She brought forward my bt to tomorrow, so at least I'll know soon. I'm feeling a bit sad and teary tonight. I wish this process wasn't so hard.
@Twinkley hope scan and BT goes well on Monday
@MrsChino oh hun, hang in there! I'm hoping for the best and I would think it's a good sing your POAS are still strong positives. Good luck for BT
@LadyLouise hoping it's a lucky last for you hun
@ScubaGal I agree hun, big hugs and thinking of you too x
@Bundle of joy welcome and good luck for your cycle hun. I too am doing my first antagonist cycle this month.
AFM: phoned the clinic today to confirm that FS will be here this month. And he will be back on the 18th august and AF is due on 17th august. So the fn said they can start me and FS will be back in time for EPU etc.
