(I feel I'm getting too old at 40 to go through another stim cycle IMO) First transfer last month was BFN; currently CD7 see what is meant to be. On our very last chance. Best luck to you.
I think thats the bit I struggle with - having 2 already and others on the ivf journey having none. It *seems* selfish to so badly want another and can't be compared to not having any at all. I guess for me, because we have been so lucky, if it doesnt work it wasnt meant to be and I am lucky I can live with that. I think I am a bit more relaxed knowing I dont have everything riding on the outcome and our decision to go again was for lots of different reasons (including not knowing, or being comfortable with what options we had for the future of our embie!) We won't be going through another stim again regardless of the outcome. I guess to others who dont have any, they might question why we wouldn't donate (or be resentful that we are trying for another because we have 2, and we can - not saying anyone here is!) - but looking at my children, knowing there is potential for another one just like them - I couldn't donate. Take my hat off to those that do. I guess everyone is on their own life journey and I wish all the ladies here every success x

@KitiK I just can't believe people get pregnant simply by having sex. It just seems preposterous that it could be so easy.

    Hi All,

I thought I would pop into this thread. DH & I are seeing our FS nurse tomo for our 1st IVF consult appt. So far we've tried clomid, OI, 3x IUI (1x early m/c IUI). Our FS suggested IVF considering the other assisted methods have not helped, all tests have been carried out and all is deemed as normal. The only thing that FS did say is that it can be genetic as I was a IVF baby myself. I was told I would be doing an Antagonist Cycle. Anyway I'm not sure If we're starting this cycle or next. Ah, I feel like IVF is this whole other thing I need to learn and get my head around now.

Welcome @Bundle of joy, hope your ivf journey is a quick short one!

How are you doing @ScubaGal? Have been thinking about you. And you @MrsChino, here's hoping all this drama is just a super sensitive cervix and Friday brings reassuring news.

@Precious40 Towards the end of stimming I felt quite full and heavy and sore. Not so much like AF starting, but definitely like I was on the verge of ovulating. I have heard others say it felt like AF though, so it sounds pretty normal to me.

Afm, I rang the nurse at the clinic this afternoon because I was starting to worry about my bleeding, as in how much is too much? She agreed that it sounded like quite a lot, and said it is most likely the pregnancy ending. She brought forward my bt to tomorrow, so at least I'll know soon. I'm feeling a bit sad and teary tonight. I wish this process wasn't so hard.

The first time I was ravenously hungry on 15mg and the second cycle no change in appetite and it was 25mg! Strange!
Thanks ladies - called the nurse and she said to take both at the same time at the same time so I will take them in the morning with my 50 other tablets!!

@Bundle of joy welcome and good luck for your cycle hun. I too am doing my first antagonist cycle this month.

AFM: phoned the clinic today to confirm that FS will be here this month. And he will be back on the 18th august and AF is due on 17th august. So the fn said they can start me and FS will be back in time for EPU etc.
