Hi everyone, I'm new here too. Glad to find some ppl that are going through the same thing as me while my friends spit out easily conceived babies left right and centre! I've since deleted my Facebook LOL.

I know the feeling @MissBell I'm due to start my 2nd cycle after I had nothing fertilise from the 1st collection. Total devastation and completely unexpected.

I had my daughter 5 years ago and conceived naturally. Been trying for the last 4 years and developed PCOS and hyperthyroid along the way. Somehow I fell preg naturally just before I was to start my first cycle. I found out at 6 weeks and was blown away but there was no heart beat. Serious give me a break!! So I had a D&C waited a few months and tried the IVF. Embryologist was shocked that nothing fertilised because eggs and sperm looked great and I had just had a recent pregnancy.

Onwards and upwards, I'm waiting for AF hopefully tomorrow so I can start my next cycle any day now.

Good luck to all of you!!

Hi all, I'm new to this thread. I'm up to day 9 of a FET cycle (I have two 6day blastocyst frosties) and it all feels a bit detached. I'm currently interstate from my clinic so won't even have my day 10 us & bt until Tues (day 14). I've got an easy regime so far, just HRT and Prednisolone tablets. No needles, yay!

I am sure it will all become real when I hop back on a plane and go to my appt.

is anyone else at a similar point in their cycle?

Welcome @babystepswa. Both @BabyOB and I are at a similar stage to you (hope you dont mind the mention @BabyOB!

I am doing a natural fet (no hormones at all - apparently not needed...?) with a day5 or 6 blasty - if he/she thaws. Currently at cd 12 today. Hoping for fet by Wed next week!

Welcome @littlekiwi, hope this cycle is kinder to you. Good luck to you both on your journey, the ladies here are lovely and very helpful. x

ATM very scant day 2 clinic said to wait till full flow starts to call and count as CD1 ?? Has anyone had the Synarel make their AF almost non existent or delayed it? Hoping maybe full flow will start in next few days. Also really sore tummy and constipated sorry *tmi* I think once AF arrives it will be vicious.

Hi each time I have used Syneral AF was delayed by minimum of 5-7 days but then it was really excessively heavy on cd2 each time I was lucky not to be at work as I was flooding every 20 mins and that lasted about 5 hours I was pretty stressed something was happening to me.

    Hello everyone.
Sorry I haven't been commenting for a while but as I'm sure your all aware this IVF train can be a little consuming!
I actually had a meeting yesterday and realised I hadn't thought about IVF for 20 minutes. Wow. Congrats to Soques and Canuck and ScubaGal! ( and anyone I've missed? ) You must be absolutely thrilled so happy for you all x
@KyLiE2014 - I'm so sorry Hun. I can only just start to begin to understand how you feel. we allow ourselves to hope a tiny bit and then we get knocked down. sending hugs xx

Well.. I've just been told after my EPU on Monday they'll be cancelling due to OHSS risk. I've got 60 follicles! They will do a 'freeze all' of any embies and no fresh transfer.
    Bummed out and frustrated
Due to Medicare rebates we can't do a back to back so if I even get any frosties I have to wait a whole 2 months till transfer.

    Anyone else had this issue?

Thank you for the warm welcome. This was my second cycle for #2. As I'm a poor responder and we need PGD my fs has suggested we seriously consider having a 1 child family because it's very $$ and odds are against us. How have others known when to stop? I'm looking into egg donors but that also has a lot of hurdles. Is anyone in a similar situation?
