    Just be careful with d&c - they can cause ashermans syndrome (scarring) which makes implantation and pregnancy much harder. Make sure you do all your research - I'd think it would be a last resort? That's maybe why your fs/re hasn't suggested it...?

    Yes @ kitik, that's what I am worried about with the d & c , but FS doesn't seem concerned so I have decided to hold my breath and trust him - if the risks outweighed the chance of success i don't think he would have suggested it.....I hope. Fingers crossed I've made the right decision.

    Hi ladies,

    Sorry it's been awhile since I posted. I'm in Thailand doing this cycle and DH and DS finally arrived, so we have been at the pool most days when not at the clinic.

    So I had egg collection yesterday and I had 26 eggs!!!! I almost had OHSS but not quite. Today the clinic called and we have 17 day one embies. We are going to do embryo transfer on Thursday. We opted not to do PGD. Feeling a bit bloated and crampy after egg pickup but otherwise excited to see how embies go. I can't wait to be PUPO!

    @ScubaGal

    its a bit of a long story. I did my first IVF cycle in Melbourne. But a year ago we moved to China for work. So we waited a year and decided to do this second cycle in Bangkok as there is no waiting or counselling like there is in Australia. It's actually more expensive here because there is no Medicare rebate! It's costing us maybe $8000 not including hotels and flights?

    Lots of Aussies come to my clinic but they come to do gender selection through PGD. We are not doing that however. The good thing about being on holiday and dong a cycle is that it is very relaxing so I am way less stressed and not as preoccupied with it.

    @Nezz79 thanks for starting this thread hun. I've been waiting to join 😃 how's was your break hun?

    Hi Ladies, may I join also. I see some familiar names and some new ones. Hope this is a lucky thread for us all 😘

    For me: We are still deciding whether to stim cycle in July or August. We had initially chose August as we was having a 3mth break after failed FET in April. But I don't think I can't wait another month lol. Will have to decide this week though before AF arrives.

    Question: for those who do the short cycle (no down reg) how many days is it from first BT to trigger?

    Does anyone know the average length?
