Default Anyone want to join the 'keeping me accountable with post-dinner eating' thread?

Hi gals. As the title suggests, I have issues with eating (unnecessarily) after dinner. Chowing down on a ridiculous amount of cashew nuts as I type. I want to lose 3kg I've put on since having hip surgery last year. I eat so well during the day then it all goes to the cr*p at about 8pm at least 4 nights of the week. Needless to say I'm not losing weight and I'm so frustrated. I've tried distracting myself, cups of tea, sucking a mint etc. Nup. Not working. So I thought if there was a few of us who could check in and keep each other accountable each night it might help?

That's if anyone else has the same issue...

This is a chronic problem for me! I just had a small serve of roasted chicken with avocado. This certainly beats what I might normally eat after tea. I'm keen to hear what other do too....

I have been better since buying a nutribullet ...

instead of craving sweet - having a smoothie with banana and rasberry and whatever other fruit I have seems to give me that sugar hit that makes it ok to go without snacking.

Problem is ... now that its cold, I dont really want a frozen smoothie ... so I snack on biscuits or chocolate instead
