@lilypily thanks for reminding me what I do have and not focussing on what I don't have. I will keep going no matter what. We ladies on this thread don't give up easily.

I went for a scan this morning and all good, lining good thickness and mystery fluid has completely disappeared! yay for small wins

I will wait by the phone and hope no one calls me to give me bad news. I would love silence all weekend please!

A question for ladies that have been through this process with Monash before, besides calling you the day after EPU to let you know some numbers and details do they call you daily with updates or they only call you if they need to?

Hope you are all well this week and enjoy the sunshine. Go Hawks.

Hi Straycat.. It's good that you are trying to focus on what you have rather than what we not have( I know it's hard). But we need to be hopeful of the whole process that it has to work one day... Great that the fluid has gone... Praying that your llttle embie becomes your baby...At monash they do call u on day 3 if you are doing a day 5 transfer, but if it's a day 3 transfer I don't know then. What day would you be transferring Hun ?

Hi @Sue77 thanks for answering my Q. I am doing a 3 day transfer so I think they call just before appointment to cancel if lil embie didn't make it or it is chromosomally abnormal. I'm going to leave it to the last minute to leave for the clinic. Don't want to be driving and have to pull over for dreaded call. No news is good news these days.

    Hi everyone,
hope you're all doing well. @straycat monash ring the day after EPU to let u know how many fertilized. As I was hoping to do a 5dt they said they'd call again on day 3. I rang the fn on day 2 as I didn't want to wait till day 3 and she told me that I had 2 left (out of 5 that were fertilized), that's when I told her I didn't want to wait till day 5 as I was fearful I'd have nothing left by that stage so she put me on the transfer list. On day 3 the embryologist rang me at 7am to give me the update on my embryos and to confirm I still wanted to go ahead with transfer on that day. If you're doing a day 3 transfer, I'd be ringing them on day 2 to see how they're going, but I'm not sure if they do ring as a standard because as I said my plans ended up changing.

hey @Grace1 thanks for the info, hmm.. today is my day 2 and I didn't get a call nor did I ring. I have one precious embie and 5dt was never an option for me, well, I guess it is, but I have opted for day 3. My transfer is scheduled for tomorrow so .. I have today to be in blissful ignorance. I know the numbers are stacked against me and I am expecting the dreaded call and to start a fresh stim cycle asap but if I can delay my pain and suffering for one more day ..

Good luck @straycat, I would assume if you didn't get a call - then all is well with your embie.

@straycat - fingers and toes crossed for you today hun xxx Also, re your question on pricing, I haven't been to Richard, but I'd say yes. I mean, they are a business and in it to make money. Would be interesting to know if anyone has gone and not mentioned IVF or infertility. Tho, you may not get herbs you need. DH did acupuncture once with me - and HATED it. He's personality totally changed for 48 hrs after was so strange. He's vowed never to do it again.
