@Lilipily why is the cycle going to be cancelled? Is it due to the number of eggs or quality?

    I had 24 (which isn't much off 30 I don't think)

@ladysexbomb if your husband has already been taking selenium supplements they may have more than the brazil nuts already.
@lilypily you sound so over it, we feel you xx
@Cevapa good luck with your monitoring - what is considered a good lining thickness? anything above 6.5 mm?
@Neetu76 wow, lots of challenges but you are strong and let's get your health in good shape before the next cycle. sending you much love and

AFM - I will trigger tonight and EPU Thur morning, I have so few eggs I am wondering if my cycle will be cancelled?! But then I need to take what I can get. I will have an ultrasound before EPU to check they are still in there. I have Fri off and not doing anything this weekend so getting in lots of rest and catching up on reading, really looking forward to doing nothing on the weekend. Work has been brutal.
@KayzB how are you feeling today?

To everyone else many hugs xx

@Neetu76 I ended up with gallstones in November last year in the middle of my ivf cycle. (With my old clinic) I know it's another hurdle but it's better to have them removed than having them during a pregnancy
@straycat yes anything above 6. Good luck with EPU, as we all know quality over quantity

They tend to cancel donor cycles with high eggs to look after the donor. My sister having 2 Ivf buba is pushing for collection as she hyper stims with anything over about 20

Guys thanks so much for all your well wishes it really means so much. Support on this thread is really amazing and helps get us all through.. @KayzB sorry to hear about your transfer and bad FS. Its hard enough without feeling confidant through such an important step. BUT you never know i wasn't confidant this cycle at all and look what happened.. Congrats on being PUPO, look after yourself and stay positive. Did you end up getting any frosties? @Flemo this transfer we used 2 untested embryos which I'm slightly panicky about. Given our last PGD results were so bad I'm trying not to get too excited about this BFP result as a bad embryo may have got through. We will have to do every test moving forward. @BaoLovesLudo we were 8dp5dt when we had our blood test (apparently 2 days early from when we should have done it) how are you going? @straycat GL for EPU tomorrow, lets hope they find some amazing eggs in those follies! @Cevapa let us know how you go Friday with your lining - fingers crossed @lilypily how frustrating. If they cancel this cycle will you proceed to another? I had 30 eggs about 2 cycles ago and was ok but i guess everyone is different.. @Neetu76 sorry to hear about your cancelled cycle IS this your first cycle with Lynn? Better to proceed when your body is at its best and ready to go.. @Sue77 I'm sure you will get there. As you know i am freaking out a bit about the untested embryos but i am just praying a normal gorgeous embryo has implanted. When is your next FET? Sending you loads of positive vibes!
Hope everyone else is traveling ok? Enjoy GF weekend xx

@KayzB do you feel better with each passing day? have you taken time off work? sometimes these less than perfect experiences yield a positive result. I have everything crossed for you. On my last scan Mon I had 11 follies with only 1 over 18mm. The others were not too far behind so by now they should be at 18mm+.
@babee fingers crossed for a super healthy baby xx
@Sue77 & @Neetu76 hope you are holding up ok this week xx big hugs
@lilypily fingers crossed for a successful cycle, hope sis is doing fine.

AFM I triggered last night and have EPU tomorrow morning, I have some concerns with irregular bleeding so will do an ultrasound just before EPU to see if I am good to go .. so there is a chance I can have this cycle cancelled. Far from ideal but better than going through with EPU to find nothing.

A lot of people always say 'quality over quantity', I have such measly rations of eggs, I don't think they are of good quality either so I would much rather prefer large numbers to up the chances but am always grateful for any ray of hope.

Work is not happy with me rearranging my schedule last minute this week to accommodate EPU (I didn't tell them what for, just I had a procedure)

@@ladysexbomb I was wondering about your question. I am not sure as I do not know but do you think as Lynn is a trained gyno they focus more on the woman by default and your husband needs to find a male fertility specialist or are all FS suppose to look after both people in the couple? I don't know. Just wondering. I have a friend in a similar situation in that after illness her husband does not produce sperm or very little of it. She has gone quiet on me for a while which is a pity as we were suppose to be IVF buddies IRL. I can ask her what they are doing but I think it is diet related. She is also going to Monash but not with Lynn, they are ready to start in terms of paperwork but have not done one cycle. They just cant start. Or maybe they have but she can't talk about it.

I know this is not the case for all of you on this thread but my friend and I are in a similar situation in that we have been married for a while, both over 35 years old, people constantly ask 'when are you having kids?' and all our friends have babies and all they want to talk about is babies. Though they are cute and we are really happy for them we don't need it in our face all the time.
