    Hi girls! Given all the recent posts, I'm pulling together a list of questions to ask at our next appointment with Lynn. It will be our first official meeting (IVF kick-off as I'm calling it) where I expect she'll outline the plan of our first cycle.

    Anyone care to share any questions they wished they'd asked upfront?

    And on a positive note, lets keep these BFP's coming!

    @KayzB hope you are feeling much better today and PUPO! yay to that xx what a disaster of a fumbling doctor you had today, maybe there is method to his madness and keeping everything crossed for you. Sometimes people who are very good at what they do have no bed side manner or social skills.
    @Flemo - how are you travelling these days? keeping well?

    @BaoLovesLudo how are you going? twins! that's amazing you must be so excited. Best xmas gift ever.
    @emski72 Oh I can only dream of getting any more than 3 eggies, I would consider getting 6 eggs very exciting! you have a higher 'egg potential' than I though.
    @ladysexbomb I was told at my counselling session that I will get whoever is rostered on to do EPU and transfer. I was ok with this as I think most of the work is done during protocol stage.
    Seriously look into selenium and brazil nuts for male fertility, it has been said it can improve it 3x in 3 months. Can't hurt to have a few extra nuts a day, you only need a couple. It cant help with chromosomal issues but unsure what can. Lynn didn't have my medical history from MIVF either when I first saw her and rang her after she got it before I started my cycle to see if based on new information has anything changed? I had to check but she said let's stick with the plan.
    @lilietak the first appointment I did not feel rushed and we just talked about my med history etc. you are in a good position as you have had the surgery and its your first cycle so a plan can be devised for you based on results from all your tests and post operation. Good luck xx Lynn covers everything and if there is anything you missed you can call the rooms and she or nurse will get back to you.

    Sorry if I have missed anyone. I have had such a long work day, urgh, exhausted and its only Monday.

    AFM my scans are coming along well and I have EPU scheduled for Thursday. Feeling very nervous as I don't have many follies, worried they are empty. Lynn did say she was not going to send me to EPU unless she was happy with my cycle progress, she would rather cancel it than keep going. She seems happy with test results so all systems go. Will trigger tomorrow night.

    @straycat
    DH has been taking selenium supplements for over 1 year. Will consider the brazil nuts though! Thanks for that handy piece of advice.

    Well I have got my appointment to see Lynn next week.

    @ladysexbomb Two books I've read which are pretty good are Zita West's Guide to Getting Pregnant, and Getting Pregnant Faster by Dr. Marilyn Glenville. Both offer holistic and alternative approaches to conception - including sections on improving sperm. I picked both up online pretty cheap.

    Definitely worth a read to see if there is anything else your hubby could do which Lynn didn't cover.

    Zita West is apparently the "dream baby maker" in the UK...
