Finally back home after a lovely afternoon at Epworth.

Ended up with a hysto, lapro, d&c and dye test. During the dye test my tubes swelled up and it wouldn't move. Essentially my tubes are stuffed.

The good news is that my ovaries and uterus look great, so we'll be starting IVF in a couple months - as soon as the the police checks etc come through.

Happy to finally have an answer, and that we didn't waste any more time. But not looking forward to all the jabs.

    How is everyone else tracking?

@lileitak sorry to hear about your tubes, but as you say at least you have an answer now and can move forward. Hope you recover quickly from the surgery. Btw I've just done my first cycle and the jabs aren't that bad.

Lileitak .. I know it's hard to accept but it's always good to have answers , then atleAst you can have a plan ahead... Lynn is very proactive.. Trust her... I have wasted years in mivf without having any answers .. They would just say it's fate and all that **** stuff and my doctor actually told me u are unexplained and there is some problem somewhere because you are making abnormal embies or miscarrying because of chromosomal abnormalities. So we shifted to lynn. And with a lot of struggle and diff approaches we have managed to make 2 'normal ' embies. Out of which 1 we are going to transfer on wednesday ....Hopefully it works, but Lynn has done her best right from laproscopy , to testing, to pgd and all medications.,,, and believe me the injections are not that bad, it's the emotional thing that kills u. U really need to stay strong till you get the final result and you will soon get there..

a final good luck to u Lilypily...

Thanks @Grace1 & @Sue77! I am glad we know, and I think a few months to just chill will be good for us.

And @Sue77 good luck on your transfer!

I'll take your word about the jabs. I'm not bad with needles, but prefer them to be administered by a doc / nurse. Not sure I could give them to myself or have DH do it. (Ironically my mum & brother are both nurses, but are both in Canada...)

Hope to see some more BFPs in the next few to get the lucky rolling for the rest of us

    Night ladies! Kate

    Hi ladies
I was on this thread awhile back but then dropped off. Thought I'd join again 😊

My FET with Lynn couple months back was a BFP (our first ever BFP). But sadly I miscarried at 8 weeks. We were (are still) devastated, but in a better place now & ready to go again.

So it's back to stimming. We have a lovely new nurse this time, thank God as never received any empathy or care from my old one!
Got all my meds, now just have to wait for AF to arrive. Am on CD35 so hoping it comes soon 😕..

I'll try to get up to speed with everyone's journeys. Hope there are wonderful things ahead for us all 😊

@KayzB I'm so sorry for hear about your loss. Miscarriages are tough to grieve. I hope you and DH/DP are healing as best you can.

KayzB and all : May I ask what nurses you've used? I start stimming in November and I'm between Hawthorn and Clayton. We live up the road from Hawthorn, but I work near Clayton and thought it would be less disruptive.

And yes, I know I could read back by there are close to 300 pages on the Lynn threads

@lileitak thanks so much hun. Slowly but surely xx
My EPU & transfer will be at Hawthorn, and my nurse (both old one & new) work out of Richmond. Sheila was my previous nurse, and my new one is Aimee. So far she has been lovely & thorough 😊
How's your nurse? Have you been given the choice to decide between Hawthorn & Clayton?
