Hi @Flemo, my blood test isn't until the 10th September so a loooong way to go!!! But I did POAS to test for when the pregnyl trigger is out, and in a couple more days it should be gone. I will just feel better once I know it's out of my system, as I know I will be a POAS addict when the time gets closer to BT lol.
    how are you feeling?
Hope u r all having a lovely weekend

Hey @Flemo thanks for asking about me, most of the pain is gone now, only a little twinge when I stand up or get out of bed. Still can't walk around very fast but for the most part getting back to 'normal' Probably well enough to get back to work this week. In the mean time have my feet up and catching up on trashy TV.

Lots of endo everywhere Lynn could not get to it all and she mentioned introducing me to another doctor and have a much more in depth surgery. 4 hours! I think the plan is to do 1 cycle and bump up the drugs and hope I respond but severe endo is affecting my egg reserve/quality and also ability to implant so it is a wait and see process. If I do not respond well my cycle will be cancelled and I will have the surgery. All of this is getting a bit much. I was only diagnosed with endo this year in March and prior to this year I had never been to hospital and now it seems I'm always there.

I have my counselling session this week so then I will 'officially' be a Monash patient. I am really annoyed MIVF are taking their sweet time sending over all my records. Once all the info is there this week (I hope) I will talk to the nurses about what the plan is. I only got to speak to Lynn briefly after the surgery and have a follow up appointment in Oct but was hoping to start fresh cycle this Sept.

@lileitak Good luck for Monday xx

To everyone : following your progress daily. Exciting to hear all the different stages we are all in.

Best wishes to @Sue77 & @lilypily for ET this week.

What I want to know is - how does anyone hold down a job while doing IVF?!

@straycat it's hard hey the whole work thing. I was fly in fly out so had to fly back for appointments as drive 400k round trips for scans or bloods. My OBS was 600k drive each way. I had a great employer but it did take its toll and I was made redundant 2 months ago. I would still be employed if I was foot loose and fancy free I'm sure. Good luck for your stim. Does endo impact implantation or just quality for eggs?

Wow straycat sounds nasty. Didn't realise endo affected your eggs also. Did she mention this other doctors name? It's not Simon Gordon by any chance? I know he is one that specialises in endo I saw him 5 yrs ago he was the one that diagnosed the andneomyosis.

Hey @Flemo I can't recall the endo specialists name as my brain had a little blip when I heard the words 4 hour surgery. I have andneomyosis as well, endo affect egg quality in my case as I'm unlucky to have cysts on the ovaries. I don't know what it does exactly but whatever it is - its not good. I know Lynn is thorough but I feel like we are discovering new things (bad things) daily. It's good that we know the full extent of what we have to deal with but it aint pretty.
@lilypily I don't know how you cope with the FIFO thing, I like your resilience and you do whatever it takes, all your efforts will pay off soon xxx

I've been thinking a lot about work and potentially being looked over for promotions. It is extremely unfair.

It's only been one cycle for me and already my husband's work were getting grouchy he took 2.5 days off in 2 weeks. He is entitled to sick/carer days plus has medical certificates but they are giving him a hard time.

I'm fortunate enough to work from home and set my own hours. It means when I am having a bad day I don't have to hide my emotions and when I need to go to appointments I can just take off the morning etc. Plus post operation I am in no hurry or pressure to get back to work. This is a luxury and I don't ever take it for granted. I know this is not the case for most people. I wonder how women with 9-5 jobs do it.

Straycat I know all this is hard , but trust Lynn and she will surely lead us to something good...atleAst your problem is being diagnosed and then it wil get fixed. Not like mivf where they just keep on doing cycle after cycle and just give up n tell u to find alternative ways..

Grace and Sophdusk.... How is it going? A few days left for both.. Hope u both have a BFP ..

    Babee how r u doing Hun ??

Lilypily.. Our ET are coming soon... May the next May again be very lucky for us as it was for you for your first baby

@straycat - thank you so much for the luck! I'm headed off in a few hours and will need it. I'm glad to hear you are healing up.

That is so terrible about your hubbies work. My husband and I work for the same company (different areas) and we've been lucky so far, but my boss is getting nosy. She keeps trying to get the details from me as to why I've requested to work from home for the week. I'll have to tell her at some point, but will hold out as long as I can.

Otherwise, our test results are slowly rolling in. DH had "normal" written on his SA. I'm pleasantly surprised with my AMH, it's 34.7 and Lynn's comment is High egg bank. Tho, no idea what the quality of those eggs are.

Hopefully today's surgery will shed some light on why nothing has connected yet.
@lilypily @babee & @Sue77 good luck this cycle! I've got my fingers crossed for all of you.
@Flemo we're all watching the #'s rise! Go baby go!
@sophdask @Grace1 either of you caved yet?? Not sure we can wait until the BT's for results.
