Hey well we are close in age as I just turned 40 our last cycle we did PGD with pretty bad results. We start stimming again tomorrow. Lynne recommends we test 10 more embryos then on to donor eggs for us.. I've had a month off and I think I have come to terms with where we are at. The decisions on what to do can be so hard sometimes.. All the best with your transfer.., it sounds like you are not going ahead with PGD? X

Thanks babee I'm over the moon and still in denial I think. Im a little scared had a missed miscarriage back in December 2012 saw the heartbeat then 4 days later no good. Trying to stay positive. Hoping your upcoming cycle goes well. Will you be on a lower dose this cycle? @Sue77 Goodluck for your scan tomorrow lets hope you can finally have your transfer very very soon. @LilyPilly was thinking progesterone injections would be rather than 3 pessaries a day. After hearing about the size of the god damh thing no thanks. Goodluck with them ouchhh

We went to Turtle Island. It's was a total splurge, but incredible. This place looks amazing too! Might bookmark it for a babymoon (hopefully) in the future.

@Riss78 your son is so precious! what a lovely name, congrats!

All these positives are making me feel more positive. I was feeling very negative and hopeless after the first disappointing cycle at MIVF and reading all your progress and Lynn trying different things have given me some hope.

I am recovering at home from the lap surgery earlier this week. I was feeling pretty rough the day after surgery when the drugs well and truly wore off but turning a corner now and will prob but out of action for about a week or so.

After this healing period will be ready for another cycle. Lynn discovered a few things that concerned her about my body but I don't think it's anything she has not seen before!

@Grace1 I was told from the previous clinic I was at the 1st cycle can be a bit trial and error as it depends on how well you respond to drugs etc. best of luck with the transfer!

    Reading everyone's progress daily. xx
