@kelly77 are you having the dye test to check your tubes? Lynn gave me temazapan last time I saw her they don't really work. I'm having some major anxiety ATM. I found out a few Wks back that I have androgenetic alopecia and I'm overall not feeling happy. I really don't think the synarel is helping the issue. How are you going with everything? Are you still doing the counselling? I don't want to get out of bed tomorrow to do the scratch.

All the best babee! And to everyone else whatever stage of your journey you are at

I just had my appointment with Lynn and DH and I are feeling a little defalted. Maybe we're just being overly sensitive but she was throwing all the % at us about the success of my age group (36). I suppose she has to put those stats out there, regardless of my bloods being normal. Did anyone else feel like this after seeing her? Those stats sound so so low.
She suggested we give clomid a try for a couple of months If that doesn't work then its onto IVF.

Hey @Emee, yes I always feel a bit deflated but I guess it's good to know the stats. At least you didn't get 'we will be scraping the bottom of the barrel' comment that I got last week! I'm only 37 so that was rough but I knew it anyway, but still hard to hear... Try and stay positive :-)
How did your scratch go @Flemo? Hope you're feeling a little better x

Must be very tough hearing those stats I am really keeping everything crossed for you ladies!! In the words of someone here once said she doesn't blow wind up your skirt. I must prefer knowing the truth, my previous fs said I'd be pregnant within a year..... before he'd even done any testing! (Then he hardly did any testing anyway) If it wasn't for Lynn I'd still be being blown away.

oh kelly you poor thing! that would have been awful to hear. You must be a tough woman to stay positive and keep going. Why the bottom of the barrel? what is she basing this on? amh?
Thanks Bao. Some docs just talk crap our of their asses if you ask me. My friend today pointed me to an article any women struggling with the age thing might like to read. very interesting. read. http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/...a-baby/309374/
thinking of you all! let's stay positive
