Default Period stopped when stopped drinking fertility tea

whoops! Sorry, pressed the wrong button on my phone before.
I can only access this forum on my phone so don't get on here that often. It wont work on my computer which is weird!
anyway, went off the pill eight months ago, normal period for 4 months then a bit spotty and now nothing but spotting here and there for four months. Been to the doctors and not pregnant and she did a blood test and said my hormones are fine. I have been really stressed so she said to try and relax and give it a couple of months which I'm cool with, but realised the other day that i was drinking fertility tea which contained Vitex and i stopped getting proper periods when i stopped taking that. I have read that Vitex can cause problems if you already had regular periods when you started taking it and then stop. Wish id known that before i took it!
Has anyone heard anything about this?
