So does it add to carbs or is it just a sweetener that makes you not lose weight like the stuff in diet soft drink?

Its a sweetener that's not very good for you and I think it raises your bloid sugar and has an impact on insulin like a carbohydrate. Low carb suggests steering clear from it. Personally I've found it makes me feels bit yuck.

A square of real chocolate each night will not kill your diet if you have eaten well all day. My issue is i will eat the whole block If you can stick to a square, I think it's better to eat that than a bar of something disgusting haha.

You will get to a point where you get uninterested in food and not very hungry.

If you dont reach that point on this diet, after 1-2 weeks, replace berries with dense protein.
    Thanks Zombie.

Yep I kept it all low carb so I'm at least happy with that. It's the first day I've really felt hungry since starting. Thanks for the tip re the berries. I love berries though! And they satisfy the need for something sweet. Anyway, will aim to eat less tomorrow.

For those that like dips like me with veges or salami for snacks. The woolies select dips are also really low in carbs. I just munched on celery and french onion dip at 2g a serving
