I'm doing ok without bread and pasta and I love salads but I don't know what to eat between main meals except protein :/ Now that I've read too much protein can be bad as well I really don't know what I can eat to replace my normal diet. I could eat fruit easily but that's a no no because they contain sugar. Do you see my problem?

What if you become more satisfied with main meals so you don't need to eat between meals? I have a big breakfast and do not need anything until lunch and then have a big lunch so dinner can be quite basic. Eating between meals became a habit for me, so now I drink lots of water or peppermint tea if I feel like snacking - I believe this is how I have dropped most weight as when looking at my food diary my snacks were very high calorie (nuts, fruit, rice crackers etc).

Yeah that might work. What kind of things should I be eating? And how big of a meal are we talking about?

Thanks! A home gym sounds fabulous

I've only got 2 more days at home and DS and I are away for a week. I'm trying to make a list of things I need to buy to stock up at the house we are staying. I really don't want to go off the rails like I did on the weekend. Mainly because I felt so gross, it makes such a huge difference to how you feel.

I need new batteries for my scales. I wanted to have a sneaky weigh in this morning but alas I couldn't. I'm feeling great though, I love eating this way!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I went off track a bit on Sunday. Not too bad just snuck in a few treats and had pancakes for easy Sunday night dinner.

I'm determined to stick to low carb this week and have started off with scrambled eggs. I have some steak in the freezer which I might have for lunch.

I'm going to try and not weigh myself all week. Last week the numbers went up and down each day, which I found a bit upsetting so I'm going to keep away from the scales.

I'm back on board with a black coffee and omelette for breaky. Might just have a salad for dinner. DD has a friend over and DH is cooking pancakes so I going to be tempted!
