I'm cutting all sugar replacements too. I'm due for af so won't be weighing in for a few days. Week 4 of c25k which feels great. DS and I are going away for a week on Wednesday so will need to do some thinking around how to best stick to my plan.
I've ruined ketosis Thurs I was a bit naughty, Fri was back on the wagon. Then yesterday we had a get together and I was good all day then snacked on the carby left overs while watching movies. This morning for the first time in over a week, I'm really hungry. I would estimate I only consumed 60g yesterday so way too much but not a gigantic amount.
Just goes to show this diet does work, but you have to be religious in sticking to it. Ahhh well. Will nip up to the supermarket soon and buy good foods for the next few days. I hit ketosis day 3 last time so it's going to be a tough couple of days to get back there.
You can do it Del, one little set back doesnt matter.
But Yep, it certainly requires you to be mega strict while in the losing process. After that tho, here and there it wont be an issue.
Its why when im in the zone i wont even take a bite. Far too soon for me and it ends up a slippery slope.
Having said that. Im really happy and feel totally in control. Not hungry, not obsessively tracking, not craving anything, and not feeling like im missing out on anything. I actually really enjoy eating this way.
I've stopped counting, as it made things worse for me. I just eat lots of fresh fruit and vegies. I have a list of low carb foods and I try to stick with that.
