What did everyone else eat today?
Sorry for more questions. I'm really impressed with how well you guys are going, to the point where I'm tempted to actually give this a shot. I didn't think I are much carbs (don't eat bread and virtually no pasta) but thanks to this thread now realise how much carbs are in things. I only want to drop 5 kg but naturally they're the hardest of all.
I'm going to find some vegetarian recipes and see if I can convince DH to do it with me.
For those that are doing it how long have you been seriously limiting carbs? Is there a reliable place I can find info on this? There seems to be a lot of confusion about carbs in food.
Today i had;
Stuffed capsicum (dd ate some of it with me)
1.5 reduced fat sausage with an egg for dinner
Snacks (AF arrived so i felt peckish)
15g of chicken breast wrapped in cheese
And i have a diet jelly waiting for me if i feel i need it tonight.
I read stuff from mark sisson and jimmy Moore has done some enormous work in the low carb area with his book and podcasts;
I had coffee, some shaved chicken breast for a snack and satay chicken & veg without rice for dinner. Just wasn't in the mood for eating today.
Mind you, DH (god love him) bought me a box of M&M peanuts as a treat as he knew I was down today. he forgot about low carb. I've had too many and worry now I've ruined ketosis
