It almost tastes like real sugar but it's a lot sweeter so judging the right amount is tricky. It also doesn't dissolve as well in cooking. I've used it to make a choc mint coconut cream ice cream and it works well but other stuff has failed.

I use my fitness pal and it shows carbs and the breakdown of protein fat vitamins etc.

My fitness pal does do carbs.... 29 today with a glass of red a bit higher than I thought, but this is why I wanted to track it rather than guessing. I also found that brewed coffee, black, is zero carbs and 2 cals

I read that you subtract the
Fibre figure from the carb amount and your left with the bad Carb content? Anyone know if this is true?

I actually did read that. Would be interested to see what other more experienced low-carbers say.

Sorry to crash. I'm not doing low carb but am following with interest.

Delirium: I'd taste test some stevia first before you buy it. It tastes disgusting. Has a funny after taste to it. I used it at my friend's house in my tea and it was AWFUL. Soooo incredibly sweet too. Had To stop drinking the tea
