I have a frittata in the oven as I type, lots of vegies, topped with cheese. Pretty much zero carbs I had willpower today and didn't eat the fresh crusty rolls I bought shopping to day for school lunches. Craving carbs pretty bad tbh but determined to get to ketosis.
Was reading and found this interesting. Too much protein can stall ketosis.
"The trick here is not only to avoid all obvious sourced of carbohydrate (sweets, bread, spaghetti, rice, potatoes), but also to be careful with your protein intake. If you eat large amounts of meat, eggs and the like, the excess protein will converted into glucose in the body. Large amounts of protein can also raise your insulin levels somewhat. This compromises optimal ketosis.The secret to getting around this is usually to eat your fill with more fat. For example, if you have a bigger helping of herb butter to your steak, you might not feel like having a second steak, and instead feel satisfied after the first one."

Im suffering from cravings. I can feel my stomach is full. But im craving something sweet. Eugh! Stayyyy stronggggggggg zombieeeee
Does anyone know a calorie counting site that actually shows the carbs? I used calorie king and it gives a percentage of carbs for the day in comparison to fat, protein etc but not actually numbers. It's been hard for me to calculate today and much of my food I have made.
Eugh but i love my yogurt. Its my small break between meat and vegies. Damnit.

Yep those yummy fresh rolls are still calling to me. Since I've been so good today I'll have a glass of red. I would estimate my carbs have been well below 20.
