    Yes. I took my son out in the October before he started school as we moved from Qld to NSW an I did not think it was worth finding somewhere for a few months. I don't think it affected him at all.

    I'm going to go against the grain and say no, I wouldn't do it. But if you are relocating I would just find a new kindy. I did that with my DD, I relocated in the August (?) before school, I put her in a new one, she haaaated it so I took her out after 2 weeks and found her a better one, which she loved and learnt a lot from. Most important IMO was learning the school-like routine. She was 5.5yo though so I do think she needed it.
    I wouldn't let my child drop from 2-3 days a week down to zero, then jump back up to 5 days a week, too hard to adjust IMO.
