    Hey ladies,
Wondering what the longest time is that you've stimmed? I'm on 20+ days now after having my Menopur dose increased (follies were very slow growing on the lower dose). I'm worried that the long stim time may affect egg quality (although I have nothing really to base that on). Anyone know?

Hey @Kelly70, I thought a longer stim gave better quality ? Or at least the quality was better than rapidly growing follicles ? I haven't done a long one, so I too really have nothing to base that on...

I have not come close to 19 days Kelly. I haven't read anything about long stims being detrimental to the eggs. Just high doses of stims (which I think all of us over 40's have been subjected to at some time).

Hi everyone hope you don't mind me crashing this thread even though not quite 40 (still 39). LOL

Anyway about me - I'm stimming atm on protagonist cycle and am due for egg collection Friday. Looks like I have 15 follies at a good size so will see what happens. Anyway I wanted to see if anyone has done any research on the best type of cycle for us erm older ladies and if it varies a lot/why. I've heard it mentioned that maybe a long down regulated one might yield better results but am not sure if that's true or why.

I wanted to talk to my FS on Friday and barrage her with questions about future planning. Atm I wanted to ask about taking aspirin during cycles, possibly antibiotics I had heard this might be useful (I believe there is some sort of test to do with immune cells or something). I have also heard natural killer cells mentioned but am not sure what this is and if anyone can shed any light on it. Was also going to ask about DHEA for egg quality. Is there any other stuff anyone might be able to suggest that I should ask about?

I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle despite doing PGD testing (which we will also be doing this time around) and am just trying to cover all bases and throwing everything I can into the future ones.

Hi ladies, sorry for my absence, lucrin has been doing my head in and the cranky cow needed a break from bubhub!

Started gonal f last night so i'm hoping that kicks in and I start to be myself again.
@me+he&she=three they say long down is good for low responders which most of us of older age are, but if you'Ve got 15 follies you're def not a poor responder!

Check out dr sher's website in the us he explains all the different protocols and what's best.

There are 5 threads on here about nk cells and immune issues, and also a book called is your body baby friendly by dr beer which explains it all really well. Dr Matthias in Sydney is the dr we all seem to go to for nk cell diagnosis, but there are some others around who believe sin it and will do some testing, but I personally believe dr m is the best place to start.

    Good luck.
@Kelly70 the most I have stimmed is 14 days. Where are you up to now?
@leyshoja did you have transfer on Monday? How did epu go? How many did you get/transfer/any on ice?

Hi everyone else, sorry if I've missed you!
