Just a quick check in...my EPU was delayed until tomorrow....on Wednesday, we decided too push me out a few more days so we can get 4 good looking eggs instead of 2. I have 7 follies as usual, but 4 that are the right size. So fingers crossed all goes well tomorrow. This will be my first at the new clinic, and its only done under light sedation, so am a bit worried as I have always been out to it. Good luck to all those on the TWW...hoping blood levels rise...x

MGC Bertie - thanks for adding me to the list and congrats on being PUPO! Miraculously, we had both embies get to day 5 where 1 was transferred and the other frozen on day 6. Such a complete turn around cycle Im still getting over the shock!! Clearly our lifestyle changes help things, and perhaps the CoQ10 has also helped. Who knows but its probably the way to go if we need to from here on. So my transfer was 3/9 so today is 5dp5dt. Ive had some spotting which is what happened with my last IVF BFP, and some fairly intense cramps which may be the crinone. Just trying to keep myself sane and blood test is 15/9 so in a weeks time. I will definitely test before it if AF hasnt arrived. Ive never done crinone so I dont have any other cycle to compare it to which is annoying. How are you travelling? Any symptoms to speak of?

Chiefsgirl - thanks for the info and i might try and pm you. I had been looking at a Dr who works with IVF Australia who seems to specialise in age related ivf. The problem we have with testing embryos is we only ever get 2 at the most so testing wouldnt be worth doing. Now that this cycle has gone so well, Im wondering if we keep trying how we have been, we now have a frozen embie to try if this one is a bust.

GnH - my clinic does sedation and its totally fine. Its just all a bit of a blur when you are in there and hard to remember things when you are out. Tell DH he has to listen carefully so you can catch all the info! All the best and hope you get a good egg haul.

Emski... my preg BT is next Mon 15/9, same day as Tuxcat's :-))

Tuxcat.... I'm technically 3dp6dt, so not really expecting any symptoms for a few days. I've only even had BFNs so am not an expert of any signs or symptoms. In fact, I've had signs and symptoms for most BFNs - a few twinges (probably due to progesterone pessaries), a few other rumbles (that I soon worked out that I get all the time - eat too much food, eat too quick, needing to go to the toilet etc) so now I'm pretty resolved that there will be no symptoms. It will have to be something fairly definite, for me to believe it's a symptom. Don't worry, I'll let you all know if something strikes me :-))

So EPU was today, and got 2 eggs was disappointed as I thought there would be 4 and my E2 supported at least 3 or 4......cant change it, so now just have to focus on what we have. The scientist was really good, he called DH to let him know his sperm was perfect, so its now up to the eggs to do their thing. Also interestingly he said only 50% of women no matter what age get eggs to freeze. So looking ahead I will have a 3 day transfer on Wednesday if only one egg survives or if both are going well then Thursday transfer. I was ok with the sedation, I fell asleep and can't remember a thing. Also Dh not allowed in, as it was done in a hospital under a local. Good luck to those in the wait period. x

Gnh.... good luck for the party in the petri dish tonight. There's plenty of women about who only had one egg and it turned out to become a baby, so it can happen to you too. Fingers crossed xx

How are you feeling @Grace1 ? Any symptoms to speak of? Good luck for tomorrow!

GnH - I always have small numbers too but as everyone says, you only need one good one. I hope you've had good fertilisation and end up with 2 great embies.

I'm pretty sure I'm out, as I haven't done crinone before this cycle I don't have anything to compare to but I've been having loads of spotting of every colour and I feel exactly like AF is going to start, actually worse than the days before AF so I feel like it's the crinone keeping it away. 6dp5dt today and I've also got the flu so am home sick. So I'm expecting it to be obvious tomorrow that it's not happening as I usually have a 12day LP after ivf, although usually with pregnyl. Definitely not a fan of crinone, it's given me awful cramping and I wonder if it's also the culprit of the spotting.

Am thinking about what to do next, whether to use our frostie or do another fresh cycle whilst we are still over the safety net for the year as it would probably be the last one we could do this year.

hope everyone is having a good day

Good luck tomorrow Grace1. My HCG has gone from 58 to 262. Still not doubling enough levels are still low. Have another BT on Friday. So frustrating! Hopefully I have a fighter and numbers keep increasing. Hi to everyone else.

AFM... no signs, no symptoms, no nothing. Thankfully work is keeping me busy, so the TWW is going pretty quick.
