@dextersmum & @Cyd I hear ya. I'm in a similar boat, about to turn 42 and I have a toddler too. Trying one last time to get that sibling next month. Maybe just maybe I can persuade my partner to do another but I don't know if he will go for it or if I'll want to after this cycle. We're nearing the end of the road!

    good luck everyone

    Hi Girls
Well it has now been a few months since I have had time toleave any messages, but I have read every thing you have all written and beenriding the rollercoaster with you…I have my own business and am working mostnights at the moment so don’t have any time to write, I only get to read yourpostings on my phone !
I changed FS in July, as we just couldn’t afford to keeppaying $3000 every month, so after meeting the new FS I felt positive and happyto get back on track, but it has been a disaster ever since…
So I did a short cycle straightaway as I felt I had wastedtime, waiting to see the new FS etc, and just wanted to get on with it, so atmy first U/S I only had 7 follies ofwhich only one was showing any good growth, so the nurse suggested stoppingthis cycle and starting a long cycle in a weeks time, so not really thinking about it I saidok, what was liked was the fact I could pretty much start snigging for a long cycle in a week (no time wasting)….and I didn’t get my blood test results from that day seeing we werecancelling the cycle…..I had this gnawing feeling though , the next day Igot out my notes from previous cycles and the follies were pretty much on trackwith my last cycle (I always have to go a few extra days) of which we got 3 eggs, of which 1 egg was transferred, so I was prettyannoyed with myself for not thinking about it and at the nurse for going for the easy option…..and I justfound out today that my E2 level was 2000 which is good…..so that cycleshould have gone ahead - what a waste.
So now on a long cycle and just had my 5 day blood and E2 is only 150. So Gonal F is now 450 and we are waiting for blood test onFriday to see if I am starting to respond. I just can’t believe it two rotten cycles….has anyone else had a low E2on day 5 ?
Since May I have now done 4 cycles and only got one eggto transfer….so bitterly mentally disappointing. Everything that can go wrongin IVF has happened to me….eggs not unfreezing, 4 eggs fertilized but didn't make it past 12 hours, cancelled cycle, looks like another cycle cancelled,....sorry for the rant but no one understands unless you are going through it.
ike all of you Ifeel like I am climbing Mount Everest and getting no where, I am taking all thevitamins, cutting out caffeine and alcohol. We are going away in October so this was the last cycle I could dobefore our holiday.
To all the girls who have had disappointing cycles, I reallyfeel for you and you don’t deserve it…and to those with some success congratulations. Even though I don’t know you all personallyyou are the strongest most positive people….good luck this month….x

@GnH that really is a rough streak of horrible luck you've had. I had one cancelled cycle and that was bad enough. The wait is killing me and you've been through it multiple times. They decided to change things up with me too, put me on a quicker cycle, I didn't respond and it set me back a month on top of three already, so I feel for you.
I really hope your follies pick up tomorrow

Arghhh! This 2ww is driving me mad! 6 more days until blood test, but stressing because I don't really have any symptoms. Apart from Monday, when I woke with AF type low tummy & back pain, bit nauseous & headache, I've had nothing apart from a few headaches & sore BBs from the progesterone. Hoping like crazy I've still got a little emby hanging in there. Work is stressing me out and I'm rather emotional. Sorry for the vent, thought it might save me losing my cool today 😁

So sorry to hear @beckymae I'm also hanging in limbo at the moment and it's just horrible I won't find out till next Thursday BT and have bleeding at the moment so not sure how it will turn out. It's a horrible roller-coaster ride. I hope next cycle is the one for you.
