Cyd, hello and welcome! I am sorry to hear of your most recent cycle, I hope your next one is kinder to you

Sophdask, congratulations! Hop you get a great fert rate and lots of good blastocysts.

Petal40, well done on the awesome 3! Will be thinking of you Friday for transfer
Precious, I'm sorry to hear about your other embies. I hope the transfer of your little fighter went well today, and she/he is snuggling in well

Beckymae, congratulations on being PUPO. To answer your question, I think as soon as you can arrange it and you feel ready. I also have a higher reserve for my age, but egg quality tends to drop off quite a bit between 40 and 45. I opted to do my 3 CGH cycles over 7 months to try and get any good ones out asap. Good luck, hopefully you won't need to do any more

Bongley, how is your cycle coming along?

Twinkley and faithhoplelove, how are you both going?

Bertie, how are things coming along?

Butterfly, if you're reading along, I hope you're enjoying your time off til your next cycle.

    to anyone else I've forgotten.

AFM - old house is now on the market, so I can think about cycling again. I'm going to see my FS later this week, so will wait to see what the verdict is.

SpringRai.. thanks for thinking of me. I've been following along here, and starting planning for my next FET, since AF came (albeit a little weirdly!!) I go for first BT this Saturday to see how my hormones for ovulating are going. Have phoned G at Dr M's room twice now to try to work out with going for IVIG this Saturday (estimated 11 days before FET) or wait another week (estimated 4 days before FET). Last time I had them 2 days before FET, and he'd said to go with trying for about 7-10 days before this time. Of course, it never fits in as smoothly as that. Of course, if FET is delayed two days (which is quite possible), then we're looking at either 13 days beforehand or 6 days beforehand. I'm just not sure, and as G didn't phone back today, I'll ring again tomorrow.

Thanks SpringRain. Good to see you back.

AF arrived today so I went to the clinic for my first shot of Zolodex. I was wondering why I couldn't give it to myself like all the other IVF shots but since they wouldn't even let me look at the needle I think it must be the size of it. It was not that painful but left a fair size hole when I took the plaster off. So I am officially on a cycle of very long down duration I have another shot in 28 days followed by another 28 days after that. The best best part will be no AF after this one for at least 3 months... and hopefully 9 months more.

Welcome Cyd. Sounds like you have had some major challenges!

Fx Bertie. It will be a great day when you can add your own name to the UTD list.

    to all.

Thanks @SpringRain I'm doing good had my transfer today good to see back.
@MGC Bertie Have my fingers crossed for you. Hope this is the cycle for you.

AFM - Had my transfer today so I'm officially PUPO with a nice blasting on board. BT is Thursday 4th September. Hoping the dreaded 2ww goes fast so many questions as it's my first IVF cycle. Has anyone else taken the progesterone pessaries have heard they are awful? Also can you POAS when on them or will it give a false positive result?

    @Twinkley congrats on being pupo!

I haven't had much issues with the pessaries, they are just messy. Yuk. Also they won't give you a false positive so you can POAS, But your trigger injection might if you POAS too soon and any boosters like pregnyl will too.

    best of luck!!!

Good luck @Twinkley. I have had the progesterone on my cycles and had no side effects but like Bongley said it can be messy.

@Twinkley I'm doing ok, thanks for asking. Just waiting until tomorrow for the call from the embryologist to let me know how the embys are going, hopefully we have something to transfer Friday.
