It was seen on the original scan but then not seen again on saline sonogram so old FS refused to go back in and have another look despite my original surgeon who took my gigantic fibroid out suggesting it. Hence I changed to current FS specifically to ask him about the condition of the uterus when putting so many decent embies back and nothing but 1 loss. And my new FS found what is most likely an endometrial polyp right away and it's easily seen on most recent scan. Massive wtf moment - DH is spitting chips at all the $ wasted......

so that polyp would prevent you from getting preggers? will you have to get it removed?

Kelly I took one 5mg tablet a night. To get the good quality melatonin in Australia you have to have a script. The stuff you get over the counter is rubbish (not the same grade).

But I was able to bring in two bottles of that brand and had no problems at all with customs.
@Butterfly39 how do you know if you have high Androgens? I have low amh 1.5 (when it was last tested in 2012, too scared to test now!). I had terrible acne as a teenager (went on the pill for it too). Hmmmm wonder if I should be taking it. Dr M didn't say anything about it.

@MGCBertie my clinic had me on a natural FET. I asked about pregnyl as I had it in the fridge from my cancelled cycle and they said no. But then when they almost cancelled my transfer due to low estrogen (they put my on progynova tablets) they were happy that Dr M had prescribed progesterone pessaries and wanted me to start them before transfer!

So you never know, they may just monitor your bloods and then change their mind and give you some.

Butterfly, I'm so sorry to hear about the polyp After going through all that only to find you've got a massive inbuilt IUD just sucks. Sending your ovaries good vibes, hope more follies pop up with the increased meds

MrsErinR, glad to hear the bleeds have settled and your little bean is doing well.

Bertie, hope you are feeling better and everything is on track for your FET.

Well it looks like we are going to go ahead with the FET. Thyroid results came in with TSH at 0.26, which is below the lower range, but my endocrinologist said he's happy with this, and said I'm fine to go ahead with the FET. My FS said he's happy, that the endocrinologist is happy. He's also not particularly worried about my cold/cough, so long as I don't have a fever.

I also asked about the results of the NKC biopsy that he did a couple of weeks ago - two out of the three things came back normal, with CD 56+ "marginally high". When I asked exactly what that meant, he said he'd give me a copy the next time! He said the protocol for elevated CD 56+ is Clexane, which I've already been taking in my last couple of cycles. I asked about taking the antibiotic Augmentin, and he said that there's not too much research for that, and he wouldn't like to prescribe something for nothing.

Chiefsgirl.... I will be asking again about progesterone support. I do have some leftover Crinone cream, so depending what the next couple of BTs say, I might just use some of that anyhow.

Will have BT and internal US tomorrow (Wed) which will probably mean FET will be next Monday. Booked in for IVIG (a big $2250!!) for this Saturday, so hopefully everything will fall into place. It's just this cold/cough that I would have liked to have done without, but hopefully by Monday I'll be much more enthusiastic about it all. I feel kind of weird, as normally I'm all IVF stressed, but this time, I'm feeling a little down about it all. But still glad to be getting a move on things.

Bertie great news your thyroid is on track. You're probably just feeling down because of being quite knocked around with your cold... I think FETs are weird anyway as you don't really feel like anything is happening. All the very best .... Holy crap that ivig is expensive - but you have to use it with the cd56 elevated. It seems you're in good hands.
How many will you put back?

Chiefs girl here's the link for an article re dhea I had read

    Signs of high androgens

Spring rain - yup, doing Ivf with a built in iud basically ..... *groan*

    AFM
WDA is a freakin genius. Had 8-9 eggs Monday, he said hmmm I bet you were expecting more, added luveris and cranked up the puregon .... And off he sent me for a scan in 2 days...Today at my private scan I asked how many eggs I had - she said, oh, 9 and I said wow that's great. She turned to me and said 'oh yeah but that's only one side ... On the other you have 10.. ....' So 19 total but only 14 over 1cm though. I feel like such a twit saying 'only'. Waiting for a call about epu date then it's a flurry of flights booked etc. Bracing for ohss. No transfer though so I guess we can afford to be aggressive getting eggs out. I still feel there must be some error and the girl can't count them properly..

Thankyou for the info on dhea and sign of excess androgens, very helpful Butterfly.

Anyone know if you can have your dhea levels tested at the GP? Prefer not to rock up and have my GP look at me like I'm a crazy lady asking for a test that doesn't exist.
