@Sedgaroo I'm sorry I hope your embie is hanging on in there. I had a lot of bleeding with my pregnancy, clots and cramping and all. for your ultrasound

    hi @SpringRain

AFM I have my second US tomorrow, they were talking about triggering me tomorrow but then I pointed out my results from my monday US were pretty dire (4 follies under 10mm) so now they think trigger on weekend. I'm doing a short cycle so its all a bit new (instead of a long down reg) I usually have a great looking cycle, lots of follies and eggs (that all frikin die off!) but to see 4 small follies was a bit of a shock. Think it was just too early in the cycle.
@faithlovehopelove oh goodness you do have a lot on your plate, hope your DH is ok. I hope you get your endo removed ASAP I'm pretty sure it helped me.

    good luck everyone.

Hi @SpringRain - thanks for thinking of me. Ive been sniffing away, mixing up my baby potions and syringing it all into my tummy - feeling not too much, until today which is CD8.
Now my breasts feel a bit heavier and full, my abdomen is swishy and it feels like things are twitching around down there. It's a bit achey from time to time.
(I'm guessing this is what is supposed to be happening.....?! My first cycle was cancelled due to low response).
Find out tomorrow as I have an US in the am.
To all other ladies here, hugs for you all whatever stage of IVF you're at. It sure is the most unpredictable roller coaster ride - I'm really oscillating between sanity and insanity! So far, insanity makes the ride more fun. ✨👶✨

I saw my surgeon yesterday but he is reluctant to do further surgery (I had the endo cleared out 12 months ago). He thinks it is the egg collection that caused all the pain. I had no pain after egg collection until AF came along so I am not convinced. In any case I have another appointment with the FS in 3 weeks time. I am also looking into a different clinic. When we started on the IVF journey we really didn't get to sit down with someone and talk about what our chances are. The surgeon was the one who referred us and he filled out the consent. The FS didn't see us before we started so we commenced on the drugs without knowing anything much about IVF. Our surgeon actually told us not to worry about it and to just wait until my husband finished his chemotherapy and try naturally. However the cancer specialist told us that sperm count can be affected for up to 18 months after chemo finishes. At my age I couldn't afford to wait that long. Having spoken to two different FS after our first 2 failed cycles we have had very different information and we are feeling quite confused. We have been told the first round was not great but not how many blasties and Morulas we got. After unsuccessful round 2 we were told we that the first round was excellent and we had 2 blasts and 2 Morulas so the fact we got nothing on this round was just bad luck. We still don't know how far our eggs got on round 2. Just that none were suitable to freeze. Last round we got no blasties but the highest number of eggs collected. When we had the transfer the FS was fairly positive because our egg numbers were good (although the quality was not good) but we have an appointment with the other FS this time. He may say something completely different. Hence we feel like we want to visit another clinic to see what they will say and to clarify what they think our chances of success are. If their communication is better then we will give them a go. @Sedgaroo I am sorry to hear about the bleeding. that everything works out alright.

@faithhopellove - I'd sure be getting some answers, especially as you sound as though you'd like to know about your numbers/quality etc. I would def. get another opinion.
Just remember this. We IVF patients employ these FS and we pay big bucks to try realise our dreams of motherhood. I think a little straight talk and some answers would be not only informative but helpful for people like us on our journey. The not knowing would be a millstone around my neck. And at our age (over 40) time is ticking away and with it our fertility. That's just my humble opinion....
I really hope you get your answers and baby belly soon ✨👶✨x

@Sedgaroo - don't lose hope just yet... There are plenty of stories of women who bleed (clotting and all) and they carry to full term, holding a baby in their arms at the end of it all. Hang in there!

@Twinkley I had synarel on my first round but can't remember when I started it. The Lucrin I had on my last round I started on day 21 so I think the synarel may be similar.

Twinkley, I started Synarel on about day 20 of prior cycle. I think it's supposed to overlap the start of the new cycle. Pretty sure that's what my FS said to me.
