Default World Cup = Cranky Old Man

World Cup making anyone else's dh a cranky old git?

Yesterday he was in a huff cause the sbs app didn't work on his phone so he had to use tune in radio (oh the horror!), as a result every other driver on the road was an idiot. This morning, there wasn't enough space on the TV hard drive so not all the Australia game recorded, so he's banging around the kitchen (I'm in bed so it's not all bad!)

FFS, what we gonna do when England get knocked out!

This is meant to be light hearted, what makes your dh regress to a sulky teenager?

My DH is the same about this dumb world cup!!! He's currently trying to watch it while his daughter plays with noisy toys!!! Hehe.
I keep saying 'is just a game!'
He says 'it's not just a game. You women don't understand. It's only every four years. '

Thankfully DH hasn't got into it this year. The Tour de France though! OMFG, I don't CARE that you are tired because you 'had' to stay up all night watching it!!!!!

Haha. The tired thing really annoys me!!! You stay up or get up early of course you're tired. Tell someone else. No sympathy.

I'm just glad we no longer live in the uk, it's MENTAL over there during the World Cup. If an England match was during working hours, a lot of businesses would stop work and allow everyone to watch the game!!

I love the World Cup. Better than any other sporting event. When we lived in Melbourne all our local pubs would be showing it and there was a real sense of excitement while it was on.

I'm pleased to say my DH finds soccer boring and so do I!

I previously worked in an office with a bunch of blokes and they were all obsessed with the World Cup. They were pretty unproductive at work during that time - coffee helps, but it can never rejuvenate like a decent night's sleep!
