    Default Closer to nature bottles

I've recently purchased the closer to nature bottle for DS who is currently refusing bottle feeds so very frustrating.

Anyway, the nipple keeps collapsing...N I think this is why DS is not latching on..

How do I fix this? I've tried to do some research n got no idea what valve ppl are talking about....

    Help!

Hold the bottle up to the light and look at the teat...you will see a little hole on the side, that is the valve and it needs to facing up when feeding.

Make sure you have the teat in the lid properly and it's screwed on straight and the milk isn't too hot (these bottles are the most difficult I've ever used...unscrewing the lids can be hard too!)

I found that happened the first week or so with that brand, no matter which way the valve was.

It says on the instructions to squeeze the valve open on the inside when you use them first I have the same bottles and since doing that I don't have a problem

Make sure the lid isn't on to tight and you are using the right sized teats for their age.

When my son first learnt to drink from these after going from breast they used to collapse all the time, eventually he learnt to latch more effectively and now they don't at all, I used to make sure I pinched the valve open. For him though it was just a learning curve and we only persisted as they were the only bottle that didn't fill him with wind
