    Default Bleeding 36 weeks

    Hi ladies,
just wondering if anyone's has anything similar and what was the outcome.
I am 36 weeks and have has quite a bit of bright red blood loss today, soaking pads and it's now calmed down. Contracting quite regularly, some painful some more like tightenings. Have been on ctg machine for 5 hours and Bub seems happy. Cervix is still high and closed. Ultrasound didn't reveal where bleeding came from, doctor said possible corner of placenta.

i also had bleeding at 32 weeks and was tested positive for preterm labour with contractions. It was stopped within 3 days and I was given steroids.

    anyone had anything similar?

I had bleeding at 32 weeks in my last pregnancy. They kept me in hospital for a few days, and like yourself they didnt know where the bleeding was coming from. I had steriods to prepare for an early arrival but then it all stopped. Went on with no problems and had bubs at 38 weeks via cs.

No probs. Mine was a Planned cs. If I had laboured before the date I would of tried for a natural birth. Hopefully your bleeding isnt anything to worry about. The good news is that you are 36 weeks along so im sure you would have a happy outcome.
