    Default Bleeding 36 weeks

    Hi ladies,
    just wondering if anyone's has anything similar and what was the outcome.
    I am 36 weeks and have has quite a bit of bright red blood loss today, soaking pads and it's now calmed down. Contracting quite regularly, some painful some more like tightenings. Have been on ctg machine for 5 hours and Bub seems happy. Cervix is still high and closed. Ultrasound didn't reveal where bleeding came from, doctor said possible corner of placenta.

    i also had bleeding at 32 weeks and was tested positive for preterm labour with contractions. It was stopped within 3 days and I was given steroids.

    anyone had anything similar?

    I had bleeding at 32 weeks in my last pregnancy. They kept me in hospital for a few days, and like yourself they didnt know where the bleeding was coming from. I had steriods to prepare for an early arrival but then it all stopped. Went on with no problems and had bubs at 38 weeks via cs.

    did you labour spontaneously at 38 weeks or was it a planned cs?

    contractions have now slowed again
    so fustrating

    No probs. Mine was a Planned cs. If I had laboured before the date I would of tried for a natural birth. Hopefully your bleeding isnt anything to worry about. The good news is that you are 36 weeks along so im sure you would have a happy outcome.
