BigRedV, I'm sorry to disappoint but no, I'm not your mother. I'm someone else's. And yes, I'm new. And if you're trying to insinuate that I'm not then you are sadly mistaken.
I haven't read the other comments but my opinion is that if you know you are going to need to pump then you ring the venue and ask someone in charge what facilities there will be for you to use. That way you know what to expect when you arrive. I did this for feeding at a friends wedding when my bub was 7 weeks old. The staff allowed me to use a staff only office as I had rung them the day before to explain my situation and ask if there was somewhere private I could go. One phone call isn't hard and could've completely stopped this event happening.
