    Default Order of teeth

DD is 8 months old and cut her first tooth at 6 months. The next one followed pretty quickly and she has both of her middle bottom teeth.

I've just noticed that she is getting her top left canine. This will be her first top tooth. Is this a bit weird? My DS didn't get his canines until he was well over 1.

Isn't it more usual to get her front top teeth first?! Anyone have any experience with this?

My DS was the same , 2 bottom teeth first then 2 top canines - he was literally a baby vampire for a few weeks!

Hopefully the other ones sprout quickly too, then!

I feel like DS was pretty much a textbook baby in terms of development. DD is just a law unto herself. My 8 month old 12kg baby Dracula.

I believe it's fairly normal to get either the top two middle ones or bottom ones first. After that it's pretty much anyones guess.
My daughter got her top two, and then bottom two, before one canine, and then she got others without the other coming through.
Unfortunately there is no set rule, which doesn't help sometimes, as you don't know which ones to look for.

Yep sounds normal. And they generally fall out in the order they appeared in too which I found fascinating when being told that recently by the dentist

Thanks ladies! The two front teeth are coming through now so I can see the ones I thought were fangs are actually the ones between the fangs and front teeth. So four teeth at the top all coming within days of each other - ouch!

In the end I was kinda happy that the fangs were through (or so I thought), I remember DS had a bad time with his so I was hoping we'd already gone through that discomfort for DD. I'm never happy

I believe there is normally more trouble with the fangs.
    Molars can cause issues too.

My DS got his top fangs first, then the middle bottom two, then top middle ones - all within 3 weeks! At least we haven't had to worry about teething for a few months.
