Default I used to have an angel. Now he's a demon.

My 3 year old has crossed over to the other side.
And he's taken his brother with him.

Perfect sleepers until last week. Now it's up until midnight, carrying on. Younger brother climbs out of cot, 3 year old won't stay in bed. We have had to put a gate in front of the door to prevent them from coming out. They scream blue murder from the door. I shudder to think what the neighbours are thinking.

I have averaged about four hours sleep since last week. My DH is at the end of his rope.

    Help.

Stay next to the bed with your 3yo until he is asleep. How old is his brother?

Does he still have a day sleep? When my 2yo started playing up I ditched it and wore her out to the point of exhaustion. She would be asleep when I put her to bed before I reached the lounge room.

His brother is 2. Terribly 2. Argh. Now bangs his head if he doesn't get his own way. They used to sleep in the afternoon but have knocked that off as well. Which is a worry as they can get overtired which is just a nightmare.

I need to find where their body battery is and rip the fker out. LOL

What do you currently do when they stand at the gate and cry?

    How old is your youngest?

What time do they go to bed? Are they in separate rooms?
    7.30pm. No.

What do you currently do when they stand at the gate and cry?
Wash. Rinse. Repeat. I simply go into the room, put them back into bed, stay with them for a few minutes then go outside. It seems to be working as they no longer stand at the gate now. They know I mean business.

    How old is your youngest?
3 months. He sleeps like the dead.

I feel for you!! My DD will force herself got stay awake and come in and out until we go to bed but we have to take her with us!!! I tried the whole sit with her till she falls asleep it doesn't work she just doesn't stop talking!! Then if she does fall asleep in her own bed she wakes at least every hour until we put her in our bed!! We tried everything even sleep school but that failed miserably too. My DP has had enough too it's just getting crazy out of hand now. Her brother is 4 months and has never had a good full nights sleep either he wakes hourly if not more. DD slept through from 8 weeks until 2 1/2!
