    Default Tracking down property managers

I'd like to make a complaint about some neighbours that I know are renting. Is there a way to find out whose managing the property? Or the contact details of the owner if they're managing it themselves?

    I'm in NSW

Ring or go into the council - you can access ownership records , some charge but some don't , if they don't have the owner or agents details listed then really the only way is to ask the tenants or ring around the local agents and see if they rent the home - if it's in Sydney I have access to most councils and can find it for you - just pm me the details

Try googling the address might come up on the recently rented list on the real estate websit

Call local agents. They'll be able to tell you if they manage the property.

It's in a smaller town, so not too many agents to call if I had to.

I'm not sure council could help. The owner is an elderly lady whose gone into a home. I'm assuming her family have made arrangements on her behalf.

So if I rang agents, are they able to tell me if they list the property? Ie, privacy?

No luck :-( being a small town, most of the properties are filled without going online

Still check the council as we always have the council rates sent to us so they may have an agent listed - if it's a small town at least you would assume it would be a local agent - just say you are the neighbour - they can't give you the details of the owner but can tell you if they manage it - and then just tell them your complaint
