Anyway, I was specifically discussing the issue of known and organised (and listed on specific websites) beats that (in my area and many others it seems) are in practically every recreational area/family area and shopping centre around. Hetero couples having random sex in public places is a different issue again as its not 'organised' and mapped out like beats are, and I dare say not nearly as obvious.. I don't think I've ever witnessed it tbh - so in that sense yes perhaps I am ignorant as you say. But that's not what the OP was about...
Your right, it's not what the OP was about, but I was replying to your post about the mess that may be left behind etc. after you quoted me. I wasn't replying to the op.
I guess it depends on where you live too...I have never seen a beat, now I'm more aware of local beats I realise I've seen men hanging around those places, but it doesn't look like anything more than men hanging around until you know otherwise. I have seen more inappropriate s.exual behaviour from straight couples than gay couples, but of course your experience may be different.
Regardless...I shall leave you with this article, it may be an eye opener...

I thought people who we're having s.x in an airplane knew each other? As in a couple going in for a quicky. I don't think an airplane is a beat is it? Which is what my thread is about. All the same I think it's equally gross. Although from what I've heard about mile high, if it's people who actually know each other than the risk of spreading disease is much less?? Again, which is part of the point of my thread.

Haha nope, not eye-opening... I know about those casual hook-up sites too. I don't care what people do in their private lives, just don't lurk around public toilet blocks with your peepholes and feet under door signals, even if you carry scented candles!
Annnyway..... I've had enough of this topic methinks..... Not the most pleasant of topics.

I'm bored. I'm off to stake out the hookup loo at my local shops.
Edit: I'm kidding, but it would be interesting to grab a coffee, sit nearby and watch who goes in and out

I can't find the link, but a town in USA in the bible belt area pipes hymns and sermons in the public toilets at nights to deter hook-ups

No it's not a beat...well not to my knowledge anyway. I only mentioned it as I was replying to the pp who quoted me, and she mentioned beats being unsanitary (semen left behind etc.) and I was just pointing out that the mile high club was equally unsanitary, that's all.

For those who have felt shocked and alarmed by this whole topic.... Try taking a black light with you next time you stay at a hotel, motel or check out a new property (rental or purchase). It will knock your socks off....lol
