Just note for the choc fudge icing you really have to keep it going on the stove for AGES which the recipe doesn't clearly specify! I think it took me over 30 mins before it thickened up.
Also I didn't bother using the cake tin with the hole in it. I just used 2 normal round tins and split the mixture, where it rose in the middle I cut it off so it was flat.
I also didn't use all the syrup the recipe suggests as I thought it would be far too sweet. Only used a few tablespoons on each layer

I did a great butterfly one that was super easy.
I bought a sponge, the Womens Weekly kids cake book had a shape cutout .. so I used that.
but it wont let me upload pics today for some reason
I loveeee the lolly cakes cause they taste 100000 times better than fondant (eww)
