Hi All. I'm new to this forum and just starting my ttc #1 journey. I'm 24 and my DH is 25. We are going to start by not using any OPKS or temping and just try and BD every second day. DH had testicular cancer (stage 1) about a year ago - had surgery and didn't need any chemo or radiotherapy so his swimmers should be strong! We BD'ed in August but randomly - so doubt very much I'll get lucky on the first month! AF due on Monday.

    Nice to meet you all

I have private hospital cover but not for pregnancy, i'm not really fussed.

Baby dust to you! you catch that egg.
I'm of the opinion aslong as you get looked after and you have a healthy baby, that's all that matters. There really isn't any difference between our local hospital and SJOG in Bunbury. Our local hospital has private rooms, partners/husbands are allowed to stay & the facilities are fabulous. Have you heard from your GP?

@kaleissk Not yet, I plan to call tomorrow.

I wonder if I need to book another appointment to get the referral... don't really want to pay another $70 just for that.

Hrrmm, if you discussed it in your previous visit about seeing an OB and who it was etc your gp should be able to organise a referral. we do that regularly here at the medical centre I work at. Its easy done!

Soooo now that your pregnant @curlybird how's life going to change for you? are you sticking to a particular diet, cutting the coffee, no exercise or are you going to take up exercising, taking an extra vitamins/herbs?
I'm intrigued I know some people totally change their way of life once their pregnant
@Dom82 have you changed or added anything?

@kaleissk I don't drink coffee or tea so don't need to worry about cutting that out. I will probably try and eat better and want to start going for walks. I've been really slack with exercising.

I don't really know what else ill change... just being more cautious with what I eat I suppose.
