I'm so sorry to hear about family troubles.

Wish Your Heart was in the right place. I know I haven't been though trauma of preg loss and i can't imagine how hard that would be. But if you'd said that to me after i lost my brother it would have meant a lot to me.

    Thanks All, appreciate the support.

Just read a few articles on "I swore I would never" comments from mums on fb. Interesting to say the least, even had a friend say she broke all her rules within the first 6 weeks.
So far I dont have anything "I swear I wont do", just things Id prefer to try and avoid. Everything is up for discussion.

@Molros I hope you are doing ok, I totally agree with the others, you are completely justified in how you feel. Your baby however is infinitely more blessed as it was wished for, worked for and desperately wanted even before its little heart began beating. So in terms of any comparison that matters there's no contest.
@WISH sorry you are having to deal with that, I second @Willowglen's advice, sadly nothing but a sticky baby is going to ease her pain no matter what you say.
    @emski good luck for tomorrow.

All i can say ladies is jealously is a curse, i have a friend who has tried to talk me out of private care because she didn't do it, and she has also tried to talk me out of antenatal classes because she didn't do it.... I don't care if she didn't do it! I have waited way too long for this baby an =d if i want to spend the money so i can have the best possible care there is its up to me, just because she fell over her boyfriends doodle and got pregnant twice without trying and without any money saved doesn't mean I'm going to be stingy with my child!
I bought some more baby stuff yesterday! I got a car seat protector with a mesh net at the bottom for small things such as toys and bottles and i got a window sock, we have great tinting in our car ( new shape Prado) but i figured a little more protection wouldn't hurt and when we drive its for a few hours at a time so i would hate for the baby to be in the sun!! Im so eager to find the sex out so i can buy gender related stuff! I don't know how you ladies that aren't finding out are coping!!

People are just way too opinionated when it comes to OUR pregnancies... And then also think that we want to hear their stories and compare ours to theirs. umm bugger off!

I have two friends who are finding out the sex today - poor buggers. They are both only 18, and yes it was obviously a whoopsie, but they decided to give this baby a life and want to be prepared as much as possible - they keep getting flack from people when they answer yes to their questions of if they are finding out the sex.
Umm. if you aren't going to like the answer.. then don't ask and don't berate someone's choice!!!

Thank you so much for your reponses girls, I thought you would understand and I was right I am going to try and ignore them and just remove myself from the negativity. My baby is very wanted and we've jumped through hoops (as you all have) and no one can take that way from me

And just because she is pregnant at the same time I am not going to let it take away my excitement and I will be happy for them (as stupid as I think they are being)

    Thank you xx

I really wanted a car seat protector but figured they were unsafe - read something somewhere. They're such a brilliant idea!! Might see if I can find more info.

I really dont know how people dont find out either @stillfuntrying I like the idea but there is so little you can officially buy and I could never afford two outfits each time I liked something.

^^ I figure it this way when buying clothes... a girl can wear blue! and boys can wear all the colours though I doubt you'd dress them in pink is all.

So perhaps buy what you want and just have some extra pink things just in case if you really don't want to find out.

hmmm... so my boss just posed a suggestion to me.. and it might be a good idea to do. He owns a winery and I currently do the marketing side of things.. he's suggested once I am ready, to start doing a couple of hours a week from home for anything that might need doing etc. Flyers, price lists.. website etc. Would be good for a little extra $$.
