Hi ladies, just crashing your thread to shout out a huge congratulations to you all on your pregnancies...I've been looking for this thread for a while and finally found it and am so happy to see so many of you ladies that I cycled with last year on here and expecting your bubs...hopefully some of you remember me lol! I'm supposed to be due in 6 weeks 5 days but due to my blood condition I am being induced at 36 weeks so 2 weeks 5 days to go for me. I'll keep popping in to see how you are all going and can't wait to see all the pics of your bubs when they arrive xx
I'm at the airport waiting to fly home NY was great, I got a lot of cheap maternity gear from gap which was good timing as I have finally popped & none of the clothes I brought fit! We also got the baby jogger city select pram with heaps of extras (cooler pack, uv screen, rain cover, grab bar etc) for less than $550 - so cheap!
So much has happened while I've been away! Congrats @Shawley on your fantastic news - must be such a relief and @90Bayside a pigeon pair - perfect!
also welcome to @vix, so funny about the autocorrect thing with @stillfun. @bowties great news about your midwife and to everyone else I hope you are all doing well
good luck Emzy5 only 2 weeks to go you must be excited.
That is such good news @Shawly. Very relieved for you.
I had my 20 week scan 2 weeks ago and have been a bit too stressed out to post since then because they found a hole in the baby's heart (a VSD). It may close up on its own or worst case baby may need surgery at some stage in its first year or so. The most worrying thing is that VSD can be associated with Downs. There were no other soft markers of Downs on the scan and I was very low risk on my NT scan but I still can't help but worry that I am the 1 in 6500. I had the Harmony test almost 2 weeks ago so hopefully if that is normal I can put my mind at ease. Expecting the results any day now.
Love all the bump and nursery photos girls and congrats to those that have found out gender.

Thanks Wish, I'm looking at Hippybottomus brand as they seem to get allaround good reviews and are reasonable in price. Might just do their nappy stash and be done with it. I spent a good part of the weekend looking into it... I figure if they don't work for the baby I'll sell them and try some other brands.

Hposs very sorry to hear of your bubs heart, hope it resolves its self!
As for the MCDs i have Rumparoos which i LOVE Made from polar fleece with elastic on the inside for extra support! I will most likely buy more of them once bubs is born and i know they fit him, i have 6 ATM i also have 2 Blueberry simplex and i don't like them much, the inside isnt very nice or soft and I'm not sure if i will even use them!
