We went when ds1 was 6 myths old. It was great. My sister was our babysitter (she doesn't ski).

We drove from Sydney and left home at 3am so we knew he'd sleep in the car.

We had no problems and we did it again when ds2 came along and again it was fine.

Re warmth in the car, keep their sleeping bag on!

We bought a ski suit from aldi as well for bub to wear. The quality is excellent and price was unbeatable. Honestly though it wasn't needed. Sleeping bags outdoors with warm blankets or a quilt, beanies, mittens and booties sufficed, coz it's not as if the baby actually goes skiing or on the snow!

MITTENS! I took my boys, wasn't really prepared, they made snowballs, threw them, ate snow, geez almost got frostbitten hands, and yep, sore tums lol.

Yeah, I heard on the news today, regarding Olympic uniform in Glasgow, that Scottish summers are the equivalent of Melbourne winters..yikes.
Haha no not quite that bad luckily! Pretty bad though.
