    - 1 packet taco seasoning
    - 1 tin refried beans
    - 8 mini tortillas
    - grated cheddar cheese
(I also added a splash of salsa, about 1/3 cup)

    Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Brown mince in frypan. Add onion and garlic, cook for 5 minutes. Add diced tomatoes, refried beans and taco seasoning. Simmer for 10-15 mins.

Spread a thin layer of mince in the bottom of a casserole dish. Add a layer of tortillas, followed by a layer of cheese. Repeat as many layers as you want (meat, tortilla, cheese). Finish with a layer a mince topped with cheese.

Bake in over for 20-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and guacamole.

Dp saw this advertised on TV and wants to try it. Do you think it would work with pita bread? I have excess to use.

I just use those mission wraps in the bread aisle, instead of actual tortillas... much of the same I guess?

I have the pocket style ones. I guess I could cut them in half, that way they are the same thickness or slightly thinner as the tortilla's and I get twice the amount. I don't know. I might just get the mountain bread ones as they are more dense.
