Ahh ok gotcha. I can understand the feeling though. When my littlest sleeps past 7am I freak out lol

Your horrible night was also one of my worse ones a couple weeks ago.

Since I've started the schedule there's only been one night where he's woken 3 rather than 2 times and that was because I couldn't get him to have the second breast so he woke an hour later for it. Again I don't know if it's a coincidence, maybe he was coming out of it anyways.

Last night he did 6.30-1am and then 5.30. It's 6.30 right now and he's asleep (wish I was but I can never fall back asleep after 5.30).
@SAgirl I forgot to add that if he wakes between 5 and 6am only give him one side and save the other for 7. You want to try to ensure he's having his biggest feed at 7am.
Thanks I'm going to try it tomorrow and see how I go

LiterallyNoOne you shouldn't have to wean him off it, you just stop it. Honestly its probably not doing a thing to help him if he is waking so frequently anyway.

FFS I'm stuck at FIL. We had dinner here and I just wanna go home. Im so angry as I'm tired and DH doesn't give a **** and neither does his dad.

I should be home IN BED but I'm stuck here lying on the lounge while the rest are in the kitchen. Poor DS1 and 2 are so exhausted too it's way past their bedtimes

DS2 is so so tired and I said he's going to crack it soon, and FIL says 'oh it's good for him, he needs to learn'. I could seriously have punched him in the face when he said that.

He knows NOTHING about babies or kids. He's so ignorant and so selfish too. Just coz he wants everyone to stay longer as he's lonely at home, we all have to suffer through it.

I don't mind visiting but for **** sakes I am sick to death of my kids coming last.

It's fine for him as he gets to sleep whenever and however long he wants to. Well some of us don't have that ****en luxury!!

AARRRGGGHHHH!!!! DH doesn't seem to give a **** either!

Sorry ladies but I'm just so angry and tired and this is the last thing I need

Been in your situation many times with my first 2 babies. I feel for you!!!

Paed told me he needs to be weaned off as he has been on it for so long. On her advice I wont just stop it just because im not a doctor and I have no idea what effect it may have on him although I know its not working just taking him off it may make him worse. It does help me get him to sleep to begin with it takes me 10 mins atm to get him to sleep and off to bed before it use to take me up to an hour of rocking patting and feeding

During the day he doesn't seem hungry, I don't keep track of the times I feed him but it's never more than 2 -2.5 hrs between feeds and he used to only need one boob but occasionally during the days lately I've been giving him both.

Maybe I don't have enough milk...

    Edit

Lately his feeds seem shorter than 5 mins

I also don't even need breast pads anymore... Haven't used them in about 2 months!
SAGirl sounds very reminiscent of our story... maybe bub hasnt been feeding efficiently...I would really recommend seeing a qualified Lactation Consultant who will be able to help you work out what is going on. FWIW I take Motillium (on prescription from GP) to increase milk supply, plus Fenugreek & Blessed Thistle and eat 'boobie bickies' aka lactation cookies(google for recipes). You can also watch Youtube vids on breast compression.

OMG the universe must hate me.

    DS2- fast asleep
DS1 has woken TWICE screaming with a night terror and it's not even midnight.

What have I done to deserve THIS!
