I keep most here and have a plastic tub with the rest which I rotate when he gets bored of the current selection.

and this basket full in the lounge stored in the expedit. I tried stacking them but he just kept shoving them onto the floor, the basket works better.

I've changed my book storage around. This is how it was(after a tidy out): ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1401840568.883914.jpg

And this is how it is now: ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1401840607.794288.jpg
Plus some more in a basket in the loungeroom. Fingers crossed I can keep it a bit neater and the boys take more interest in books.

    Thanks for your help everyone

I love this bookshelf. Where did you get it?? Might take some rearranging of the playroom but I think I could make it fit

lol I love how everyone has Expedit shelves too, they're pretty great!
Anyway sorry this isn't really on topic, I just came in to snoop since I'm always buying books and can't wait to have a big stash for my future children. Getting some good ideas here, thanks!

So we don't visit the library that often any more.
It's a different story with picture books but we avoid those at the moment as our boy still enjoys ripping paper.

www.bookdepository.com is usually relatively cheap, and they have free delivery.

www.booktopia.com.au sometimes has sitewide specials that make for some good deals. They also often have some good books on clearance. It can be a bit hit and miss though.

www.booko.com.au is also good for comparing prices
    Thanks for the links.

I've got some good 2nd hand ones from http://abebooks.com/

They're Ikea Expedit shelves, and the boxes are ikea as well ($15 each). You can get similar at bunnings, who also sell $5 canvas boxes (check out on my photo higher up in this thread)
