    Thanks @Bongley
    Only one more day to go for me!
    Works causing a bit of stress consistently so that's the only thing worrying me about starting.
    So sorry about your BFN. The silver lining is that you do have one child so you know you can get pregnant and have been pregnant!
    Mostly I feel like a barren twig lol..

    Saw there is a play on at The Darlinghurst Theatre which is local to you.. It's about one women's journey with infertility.

    Sounds very relevant! I'll be very glad to stop all this IVF stuff, it can be very all consuming. Good luck with your appointment tomorrow.

    @Bongley
    Well that was interesting! Our appt was running an hour late and we were seen by Dr Lok. OMG. I have been given more time in a takeaway shop..
    He was awful. Didn't go through our updated test results. Just shoved some paperwork under our noses to sign and we were out within 5 minutes.
    The good news is that we have booked a nurses appt for June 28th!
    Only two weeks now. Hoping I don't get AF before then.
    When's your next appt?

    @miracle4me oh that's great that you don't have to wait too long! Bummer that Dr Lok was less than interested, I don't think I've seen him. He didn't even go through your latest test results?? Gee that's bad form. Doesn't surprise me in the least that you had to wait an hour though. Ugh.

    My next appointment with my doc is in september!!! So I am calling up every few days to see if I can get a cancellation. In the meanwhile I will do another cycle or two I guess. Not sure how many I have left in me but I don't think I'll be doing this after I turn 42 in october.
    You will probably see Robyn the head nurse, she is very thorough and quite stern heheh. She will tell you all the details of what you'll need to do. I got my partner to come with me to that too as there was a lot to take in.

    Hopefully we'll be cycling in July together

    @Bongley. Thanks for the support
    We originally saw Dr Birrell who was very sweet but retired now. I'm going to request that we never have Dr Lok again. I think his manner really shocked my fiancée. It's a big deal to get semen results for men. He geared upto it and was hoping to get some explanation and he feels short changed and a bit stressed out. Have you had the same doctor the whole way or do you have a different one literally every time you go in?
    What's your doctors appt for in Sept if you hope to cycle next month?
    I think we are just excited to finally start something. We have so many friends pregnant and having babies the age I guess.
    We are being realistic and not expecting anything for 4 cycles. If we still have no luck after that then I'll really worry..

    I saw Dr Dezaurnaulds at Genea for 3 cycles and she was very good to deal with.
    At RPA I've seen Dr Marren. I got preggers with my first cycle at RPA so I didn't really see a huge amount of him other than my initial appointment where he sent me off to get a laparoscopy etc. He has always been really nice and very approachable though.

    Seeing as I've done another 3 failed cycles I need to see the doc again to review my case. If I'd been more on the ball I would have booked it weeks ago. *sigh* I really believe with my case (seeing as it took 4 goes the first time 2 years ago) I just need to keep trying, at my age it's 12% chance per cycle :\ my eggs are OLD.

    I'm sorry your fiancee was upset, a doctor shouldn't leave you feeling like that, its just shoddy. Maybe you could speak to Robyn about seeing a different doctor.

    Thanks for the tip. I'll make sure I ask Robyn.
    Sorry, I'm a little confused. When you say doctor I take it you don't mean a regular GP?? Do you mean a fertility specialist at RPA?
    If you have questions about your cycle wouldn't the specialist doing the cycle be able to advise you before doing another one or is it like a routine thing your booked into and any consultations take the long road to appointments again?
