Default The wait to have baby 2 via IVF.

Hi all, I have a 10mth old who I absolutely adore and can't believe how big he already is and really want another one already!
We are currently on a wait list for treatment (govt funded) but its not till August 2015!! Just wondering if there is anyone else out there with a big wait?

I know we could save up and do it ourselves but atm but its so expensive and the goal is to buy a house and career wise I have just been given an awesome opportunity so in reality waiting till August 2015 is ideal....but I still really want another now

Any other ladies out there waiting a while before they go thru IVF again?

Hi @chances I had a long wait at my local hospital, (admittedly not as long as yours!) and I kept phoning up in the hope of catching cancellation. I managed to leapfrog a few months each time. I don't know if that's possible with yours?

    good luck!

@Bongley we managed to jump 3mths as initially it's a 18mth wait from once they determine you meet the criteria (at least a 6mth process). But your right, once I have been at my work long enough to get mat leave I should ring up and annoy them lol to try get on earlier
