Whoa, so you must have O later, which is what you thought happened! How surprised would you gyn been with that!!!!!! lol

I had read about people having to do a few bt to see if their levels increased so all good there, appears as if you are all on track ! YAH !!!!!! Are you going to think of a cool way to tell people you're expecting? I always pictured doing it a cool funky way!!!! haha.

As I said earlier, just finished my provera and now waiting for AF to come. Feelig like crap with cramps and back pain so thinking it is building up! haha. Bring it on I say, ready for another round.. although a little apprehensive regarding the clomid and possibly side effects

Well I'm in a bit of a downer of a mood. I spoke to the admin lady at my FS clinic on Monday who said she was sending me a script for provera. As I live in a different town it would be sent out overnight. So yesterday I raced home from work in the hope to find a script in mail box that I could go fill. And no script. So today I did the same - raced home to find no script. Do you think it would be ok to ring tomorrow to say I have not received script. I'm starting to get very impatient and a little cranky that the script is taking so long. Or should I just wait til the end of week. I can't help but thinking they have forgotten about he. Oh woe is me. Sorry to put a downer here.

However it's great that you think AF is coming - will be good to start a new cycle then lots of BDing hehe.

I Spose my biggest thing is that it has taken nearly 3 months to get to this stage and work wants me go away for approx 4 months starting at December. I am a little concerned that that is taking away 4 months if me ttc. As I won't be with my DH. I'm hoping to be preg by December - hopefully that's a realistic goal

Completely understand how you guys feel. I know if I had the BFN I was expecting I just wanted to start on Provera straight away so that I could get AF to start the cycle all over again. Do you guys have a BD'ing plan? We BD'd every second night from CD10-CD20 which ended up being pointless, then just BD'd when I got my positive OPK a week later.

Danisam, I totally would ring them! But I'm also super impatient!

I so hope you both not only ovulate this cycle but you get your BFPs! It’ll make everything all worth it. A few days before I got my BFP I was so teary and down. It just gets to you, but try to keep positive. Positive thoughts bring positive outcomes. Each new cycle is another cycle closer to your BFP

I had my second lot of bloods done today and the good news is my HCG 289 so definitely doing what they’re meant to (doubling time being 33.55hrs which is slightly above average). But again the nurse kept saying it’s not viable for 6 weeks which I told her I believe I’m only 4 weeks. I gave her the whole run down about not ovulating etc. but she still wants our OB to check the information and either the OB will call me tomorrow or a nurse will. So I’m while I’m comfortable that the numbers are doing what they’re meant to be doing, I think I’ll feel more relaxed when someone confirms that I’m right with my estimation date than their estimation date! I can’t wait until we can actually start to be really excited about it all! I feel like we’re missing out! But as my partner said, if things all go well, then we have the rest of our lives to get excited.

Tassiewife, we haven’t thought about how we’ll tell people yet. My partner’s sister lives interstate and is coming over when we’ll be 10 weeks, so we’ll probably wait till then to tell her. We might tell my dad and my sister prior to then too. Then we’ll probably wait till we’ve had the 12 week scan before telling anyone else. Although I have already had to tell someone at work. She’s a staff member of mine and I have her in mind to do my role while I’m on Mat leave. But she spoke with me yesterday saying she was considering taking a short term contract in another area as she felt there weren’t any opportunities in my area. So I just said ‘well actually I’m pregnant and am hoping you’ll do my job while I’m on Mat leave’. She was in shock. But then she burst into tears. She then asked how my family etc. reacted and I told her she was the only person outside my partner and I that now knows! Poor girl! I had a meeting to go to so I had to rush off and leave her with that news!

DaniSam, def call them !!! It wouldn't surprise me if they have forgotten At least this way you will know over the weekend!!!
Also DaniSam, don't you worry, I totally get you, although I am not in your shoes, as I have been lucky enough to be hopefully starting my next cycle soon, when you were in front of me previously so you most def should be on your AF now. It is so frustrating and I totally understand. So please yes, call them !!!
Do you have to go away for work? I know they say you shoudnt let TTC get in your way of life etc but when you have been trying for so long it has its way of controlling our life!
The plan for DTD is to do it every second night, prob from D10 too, last time we struggled a bit as my DH has long hours so he and I are both tired but we are hoping to try a bit harder this time. Suppose it sucks more because we don't even know if we are O'ing, and if we knew that then we would know it would all come down to timing!

I think I missed a question earlier about telling friends etc and I have had no hope in NOT telling my close friends! MOre so because I can't help but blab becuase I am that way inclined, but more so as I felt like i had to tell my two close friends at work after hearing and reading the symtoms of clomid etc and more so for my moods. Hvae been all over the place lately and they needed to know why. Plus my boss is one of my good friends so she at least knows if I need a day off or something. In regards to my other close friends then yes they know too as they all have kids and have asked me time and time again, plus they know and knew how excited and desperate to some degree my DH and I wanted a family so no hope them not knowing. And well then some people know because they keep asking about babies etc and I cant help but get annoyed with them regarding the question so I snap at them that it isnt that easy. I can be quite snappy and fiesty at the best of times!! haha..

In hindsight I wished I hadn't told them, but at the same time it is good to chat to poeple about it that love you, and they are good at listening!

Daisy I am glad to see that everyhting is increasing as it should, but yes will be good to know how far along you are etc. Do you need to have more BT ?

YAH for it being Friday tomorrow!!!! xxxxx

    Hi ladies,

Hooe you both had a good weekend

tassiewife, I'll be doing more blood test this Tuesday and then again the following Tuesday to check that my HCG levels are going up. I also moved my scan date back a week as I'll have a better chance of seeing a heartbeat from 7 weeks. So I'm going on 4th Aug when I'd be 7 weeks by my calculations.

Still having lots of cramping though that makes me feel very nervous.

How are you both going? Any sign of AF?

    Hi ladies,
Well i took your advise and called my FS. They agreed that it should have been overnight postage but it wasnt. So they ended up facing a script through to my local chemist and I was able to get it filled Friday. So I am currently on day 5 of 10 of taking provera. So at least I'm moving forward

However I still haven't seen the original script. Maybe it will come sometime this week as its meant to have by 21 day blood test referral in there too. Fingers crossed.

Well my work is changing computer systems and I have been asked to be a trainer. This as far as I am aware will involve travel this December and then a lot of travel and away times from February to April next year. It would be a great thing to do but that is taking away potentially 4 months of ttc for me. I am really hoping that I get luck in August and then if not maybe come November/December be trying again abs if lucky then well I may not have to tell work I'm preg I could still do the travel etc. but we will see

i do agree about the friends thing. I have quite a few friends I would like to tell but then I don't think I want the questions asking etc. my mother knows so its good that I can talk to her about it.

Great news that Hcg levels are going up Daisy. Definately keep us posted on the next 2 blood tests. Will be so amazing to see the heartbeat. Such great times ahead.

I do think some forms of cramping a normal. I think the body has to adjust that there is something growing inside of you. So twinges etc i believe are ok. But if at all worried maybe just put a call into your doc to double check.

Im hoping that AF comes soon. I think the first time it came after approx 5 days from taking my last provera tablet. So early August I should be all set to go.

One question I did read - a lady said that she has not received AF so she was going to take the 5 pill sugar tablets. Do you think that would have the same affect as provera? I thought it was a little stage.

As always thanks for listening xx

I agree with DaniSam re the cramping, I think it is normal, but yeh like she said, def call your doc and ask if it is concerning you and please let us know how you go...!!

DaniSam, I am so glad you rung and that you didnt have to wait the weekend to get the script and start taking the Provera! Although very weird that it still hasn't turned up !

I finished taking my provera Tuesday last week and today with light spotting in the morning, and now getting heavier I am hoping tomorrow can be Day1 of my next cycle !! Then onto the 100mg of clomid from Day2. Am excited about it!!!

I am one that stress' alot so am thinking about dropping some hours atwork so I can relax a bit more so that it hopefully helps my system- am really need to try and get out and walk to clear my head more- I did so on the weekend as it was actually warm and sunny here in Launceston (although only like 12degrees!) and I loved it- I walked my dog for an hour and a half and only stopped as my feet were sore (breaking in my new runners). Also thinking of getting some massages or something to help me wind down, and not get so ****ty with my DH when I have to ask 50 times for something!!!!! lol- my DH is a sweetie but a real man with selective hearing and lazibones!!! hahaha

DaniSam, I find that interesting with the sugar tablets, suppose it makes sense, but I dont know. I was nearly tempted to call my gyn when my AF didnt show but read it could take up to 2 weeks to work- suppose when it only takes a few days last time you get your head into that frame of mind!

DaniSam, are you writing things down, like any cramps etc in prep for O or to see if there are any signs? I have been trying to us an app on my iphone, but hwen I was up to Day35-46 of my cycle i got lazy but now AF is here I will track again..hoping to find a pattern somewhere !! haha

    xxxxxxx

Tassiewife I started reading your post and got all excited. For you and for me. Am really hoping that the 100g can work for us both

i do know what you mean about the stress of ttc. It can really take its toll and if you feel you need more time to clear your head and relax then that's what you have to do. I must agree about the weekend walking etc. it is such a great thing to do.

Yes the sugar tabs is interesting - although I don't know if it would have an adverse affect on you. Still while I'm getting script I won't be trying it.

No I haven't been writing anything down but that is such a good idea. I think I will start doing that. I was taking my temps so I may start that again. A pattern would be fantastic.

Well I have seen on fb that my cousin has been losing weight. She lost a bit over 10kg in 30 days by using a weight loss program called isagenix. My aunty and uncle have also been using the same. Aunty lost 7kg and uncle lost 12.5. They also lost a huge number of cm's. it's expensive but I'm thinking about doing it. Even if I do the 30 day detox and see how I'm feeling. I have googled it and some people used it and fell preg but they weren't sure if it was due to the isagenix or of it would have happened anyway. And then you can still use it while preg - you just can't have some of the things.

How are you going Daisy - still got the twinges? Another blood test today?

    Hope all is well xxxxxx

Danisam, so glad you’ve got your Provera! Fingers crossed you get your BFP in August!! With the Sugar Tablets, I thought they were just placebo tablets that didn’t actually induce an AF? Also, I do recommend a detox. I had just started one when I conceived, I don’t know if it played a role or not, but I was recommended by both my GP & My GYN to lose weight because even a loss of 5% in PCOS can be beneficial for TTC.

Tassiewife, have you made a decision about dropping some hours? A few days before I got my BFP I had an emotional meltdown telling my partner that I couldn’t quite put my finger on what was upsetting me just that I felt really upset. He told me he was worried I was stressed out so we agreed I should take a couple of weeks off of work to de-stress etc. So I went to work the following day and booked the time off. I must say that knowing I was taking some time off made me feel a lot better about things. I had planned on walking the dog each day, have a massage, manicure etc. go shopping, do some cooking, see friends etc. and then a couple of days later got my BFP! I’m still taking the time off though (starting from next week!) but haven’t booked anything in yet as at this stage I just want to read & relax. Will still take the dog for a walk but I want to see how I feel next week before I book anything in as I hit 6 weeks and am worried I might get some MS.

As for me, cramping has gone now. I’ve read that it’s perfectly normal, so I’m hoping so. I had more blood tests done on Tuesday, HCG is now 2098 which is good but my Progesterone has dropped from 91.7 on Thursday to 54.8 on Tuesday. I was really worried about it but my OB has said it’s still a good number. I’ve tried to look this up and some things I found suggested Progesterone levels can fluctuate and other I’ve read said that the levels dropping aren’t a good sign. I guess I just have to trust my OB. I’m having more tests Tuesday next week so hopefully everything is back on the rise again.

Well ladies, I'm seriously hoping that August is a good month for you both...hoping to see you both get your BFPs! Then we can start a whole new thread for our Clomid babies

Omg Daisy the fact that you mentioned the detox makes me so much more excited!! I have read a few stories about people getting their BFP and not sure wether it was cleanse or would of happened anyway.

Good for you for taking the time off work. I definately agree out taking the stress out of ttc. It can be so overwhelming at times.

Glad your cramping has gone. That is great news. Also great about your HSG
And I can understand your concern about the progesterone but if your Ob is happy then don't stress yourself out more.

We are both definately hoping for BFP's for Aug too. Thanks for your support Daisy
