I dreamt about going to costco last night. This obsession of wanting to go is getting out of hand.

They have EVERYTHING. Electrical, white goods, home wares, groceries, hardware, clothes, boats, tyres, etc etc.
Some things were slightly cheaper. Some the same price. No significant savings that would justify me driving all the way out to North Lakes or paying $60 for membership.

Thanks RipperRita for the pics... I must be the only person in Brisbane that is just "meh'' about the whole Costco thing...couldn't be bothered driving to Northlakes. It reminds me of the Aldi phase...

I went yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to see what I saved on everyday items I would have picked up in Coles.

I did a spreadsheet (cos I'm a nerd ) and worked out the unit price for costco vs a Coles online shop and found I'd saved $157. Even after paying for member ship I was still ahead
Here is a screenshot so you can get an idea. The toilet rolls were the best buy but I knew the Tim tams weren't that much of a savings (but still got them anyway). It def pays to do a little research first because there are some items in there where you don't save at all. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1401905049.904683.jpg
