You can get the flex edge and bowl from peters for $60 each so it sort of works out the same! Yes you only get 1 bowl but I definitely recommend getting 2 - so much easier when you need to mix 2 things separately !

The espresso is actually really pretty in person! One of my clients has a red kitchen so the shiney chocolate coloured kitchen aid actually works well!

Apparently the lady with the 'timber kitchen'. The colour is 'Espresso'. Not my cup of tea, or should I say espresso!

That doesn't sound too bad with that colour combo.

It's a smaller one, ideal for us

I just called Myer and asked them to find the nearest store to me that stocks the Ice colour, I need to see it before I commit.
Sydney CBD is closest so I'll try get in there over the weekend.

Yeah I think I've decided on the Myer deal.
Especially if I love that colour.

Yay, how exciting!! The flex edge beater would be AWESOME. (I'm struggling to find one that will fit mine because my KA is a bowl-lift rather than a tilt head) Also, the second bowl will be very very handy!

    Congratulations on making the decision!

Some great info and tips in there.

I think when the kids are older and much more adventurous with food, I would appreciate a Thermomix a lot more.
As it is I only cook for 2 adults and two picky little eaters so I feel it's an expense (money is an issue) that I can live without for a while.
I do like the sound of it though and I can see why those of you that have them, really, really love them

Now, I was looking up the Kitchen Aid yesterday and the one colour I would love doesn't seem to be available in Australia.
Has anyone got a KA in Aqua Sky?
The nearest shade is Ice but as I haven't seen that in a shop anywhere it's hard to tell what shade it really is.
Has anyone got one that shade you could share a photo of?
I'm going to pop into a Myer later today to see if they have one in that colour in stock, then buy online. Is this a good deal?
Hope I'm allowed add the link.

ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1401585473.608789.jpg I have it in ice.

It's not coming up great in the pic but I will say it's not an ice colour to me, it's Tiffany blue, which is why I got it

Ps if you're near Taren Point in Sydney the Home and Kitchen Warehouse usually have deals on the Ka.

I got mine there and got the flex edge beater for free and if I had bought it a few weeks later I also would have gotten the recipe book for free - but we were moving interstate and I wanted it there and then.

You can also ring them and ask what deals they have they'll usually tell u over the phone.
